它讲了，狗的孩子们长大成人了，它的老伴也去世多年，于是，狗卖了房，决定去辽阔的世界里去。狗先遇到了作弊的猪，帮助猪实现了当明星愿望。与猪分手后，狗误入一所学校，被熊校长当做新来的代课老师。狗只好将计就计。它教学不拘泥于成法，让孩子在实践中学习知识，成了最受欢迎的老师。但好景不长，狗冒充老师的事被教育局发现了，警察也来追它，幸好有大家的帮助，狗得以逃脱。熊校长也因此被解职，陪伴狗开始了逃亡生涯。熊对教育现状不满，企图通过从政来改变一切，于是扮作妇女参加竞选，不过，被政敌揭穿。关键时刻狗奋不顾身地将熊解救出来，带着闯荡世界的种种欢欣与无奈，与熊一起回到了家乡。
这本书写的好像是一扇可以走进书的世界的门，它让我进入了书的世界去。

狗的孩子们都长大了，老伴也去世多年，狗想去闯世界。他就把房子卖给了老驴，独自上路了。在路上他遇见了没有幸运感的猪，狗问猪想做什么？猪说他想当歌剧明星。够就带着猪来到一家剧院，找到老板，老板给他们俩两张台词，狗先不背自己的台词，而是先帮猪背，等猪背会了再背自己的。到了演喜剧的时候，狗演了一集就不演了，于是，猪终于当上了明星。狗为猪骄傲，随后就独自上路了。
我觉得书里的狗和我一样善良、勇敢。猪也是一只很幸运的猪，因为他有了一个像狗这样的好朋友，在遇到困难的时候会帮助他。我非常喜欢看这本书。
