我们来到了岳飞庙的大门前，大门雄伟壮观，左右两侧刻有“忠孝”两个大字。进了大门，首先映入眼帘的是五位跪着的石头塑像，他们分别是王竣秦桧、万俟卨、张竣王氏几位奸臣。他们非常坏，最可恶的`就是秦桧，他是南宋投降派代表人物，绍兴十一年为迎合金人，和高宗合谋以“莫须有”的罪名将岳飞父子害。人们非常讨厌他，走到这些石像跟前，总要用巴掌扇这些石像。
我们向北进入了一个院落，那里有一个“御碑亭”，上面刻着“精忠报国”四个刚劲有力的大字。我们又来到了两边的厢房，那里有许多的“勇士”，样子栩栩如生，有断臂的王佐，有拿着青龙偃月刀的关铃，有手拿双钩枪的陆文龙，等等，都是那么威武。
继续往前走，就到了正殿，正门上写着“乃武乃文”四个大字。进入大殿，可以看见一尊岳飞的铜像，他身穿战袍，头戴盔帽，昂首挺胸，目视前方，英武高大，好像在说：“还我河山！”壁间是当代著名书画家为赞扬岳飞所作的书画。
我们穿过正殿，到了二殿。二殿为岳母刺字组塑。靖康元年，岳飞从军时，母亲姚氏夫人用钢针、墨汁在岳飞背上刺下“尽忠报国”四字。岳飞的爱国精神令人敬佩。
天色已晚，我们只好回家了，我的心仍然沉浸在岳飞的故事里。中国历史上因为有岳飞这样一个民族英雄而自豪，汤阴大地也由于岳飞庙的屹立而增色。
