有一天，我去广场上玩，望着一片一片的碧绿的小草，心里非常舒服，一天的不高兴都被小草的碧绿淹没了，这一棵棵小生命在风中自由摇动，心里那舒坦劲别提有多高了！广场里，人人爱护每一棵小草，垃圾不乱扔，而是扔到垃圾箱里。当有一名游客乱扔垃圾，人人都会看不起他，而且会有人走上前，拾起垃圾并扔到垃圾箱。因为这样，这里的小草很精神，所有的植物都显得生气勃勃的`，空气也十分新鲜，人们最喜欢来的地方就是这儿了！
但与这个广场相隔不远的另一个草地，就没那么好了。人们牵着自家的宠物来这里散步。宠物们跑到草地上大小便，一些小孩也在草地上跑来跑去做着游戏，有的大人把废纸、塑料袋扔到草地上，还有的人竟然把吃过的口香糖、痰吐到草地上。这儿的植物早就变枯黄了，而且还有些破坏植被的人拔走小草，只剩下光秃秃的土地。这片绿地显然不太受欢迎。
是什么造成了这样明显的对比呢？就是那些没有公德心的人，他们只考虑自己的利益，把广大人民的利益不放在心上。也许他们仅仅是吐了一口痰，但他们的这个举动就是没有公德心的表现；也许他们只是想来散步把自己心爱的宠物牵来解解闷，就是他们这种不经意的举动破坏了对人们造福的小草；也许他们拔点小草拿回去喂自家养的小鸡、小鸭，但他们这种行为竟让一片小草于他们手下。就是人们这一个个不经意的举动，竟成了破坏生命的人，成了不守社会公德的人！
注意自己身边的每一个细节吧。让我们从身边做起，保护每一棵小草，让社会更美好吧！
