盛夏时节，茉莉花开放了。细长的花瓣雪白雪白的，洁白无暇。像雪花一样柔软滋润。它的花蕊是黄色的，上面满是花粉。那桃形的花骨朵也惹人喜爱，就像用白玉雕成的。有时候阳光照射在洁白的花朵上，显得晶莹耀眼。夜晚，当银白的月光洒在大地上。从绿叶间露出来的茉莉，更显出它的高雅气质。
秋天，五颜六色的菊花争艳斗放。有红的、黄的、绿的、白的，还有粉红色的。红的像火，黄的如金，绿的似翡翠，白的像雪花，粉的如彩霞。朵朵傲霜吐艳，竞相开放。
冬天，当百花凋谢时，梅花却傲然挺立，像松柏那样傲风霜，斗严寒。梅花千姿百态，那些似开未开的花，外面的花瓣已经绽开，可里面却还紧紧的抱在一齐，这多像一个害羞的女孩呀!梅花不与百花争艳，这种精神多么可贵。

假山群旁边就是美丽的池塘，池塘的水真亮啊，阳光照上去，此时像照在一面大镜子上反射出一道道亮光，刺得我睁不开眼睛；池塘的水真清啊，清得能够清晰地看到池里的鱼儿成群结队地游来游去，在嬉戏玩耍；池塘里的水真凉啊，我坐在游船上把手浸入水中，顿时感到凉飕飕，好惬意啊！
张家港公园还有一片整齐的树林。在它们中间，我最喜爱的还是苍翠的松树。是的，这儿的松树不是就像起伏的大海吗？看，海边上还镶着美丽的花边呢，那是些小巧的香樟树，树叶是嫩绿嫩绿的，还泛着嫩黄。阳光下，大片青松的边沿闪动着香樟树的倩影，不是像美丽的浪花吗？
在树林里，我还发现了一些若隐若现的小野花，此时它们扑鼻的花香引来了许多紫色的小蝴蝶，围绕着花儿飞舞，真是令人流连忘返。
