书是人类进步的阶梯，所以作为一个小学生，我们应该多看好书。今天我就向大家推荐一本老舍写的《骆驼祥子》。这本书讲了主人公祥子如何从一个勤劳朴实，忠厚善良，注重信誉，讲义气的\'车夫堕落到一个乱多狡猾，极端自私，耍无赖的“刺儿头，最后禁不住夏太太的诱惑，得了一身脏病。祥子本来只是一个守本分的车夫，不怕吃苦，健壮，喜欢沉默而又又生气，靠自己的劳动换来了一辆属于自己的车，他原本打算等攒够了钱再做个车厂老板。她很要强，希望能靠自己的本事吃饭，但是由于他生于一个黑暗的社会，新车去被抢，后有委曲求全去了虎妞……着一连串的悲剧压得他喘不过气来，于是他对生活的信心以及要强的性格开始一点点的丧失，最终变成了一个彻头彻尾的坏蛋。
祥子一生几起几落最终沉沦，这个故事反应了半殖民地半封建的中国社会里层任命的悲苦命运，也证明了生活在那个时候的来动人们要想只是通过自己的劳动来换取成果是不可能的。
一个人要是堕落了，那还能做什么呢?我推荐着本书就是因为它让我明白，每一个人都应带有目标，有理想，更要为这目标和理想而努力，但是当我们遇到挫折时也不要放弃，更不能堕落，是是应该坚强。而且我觉得这本书揭露了旧社会的腐败，我像大家看了一定会动的如何坚强，如何珍惜眼前的生活
