As you read the letter in the future, you can assess how many things match up (or not vs. your expectations in the past and think about why that’s the case. Often times, the goals we set and our goal achievement process are subjected to a lot of changes along the way, due to varying obstacles, unanticipated circumstances and changing priorities. The letter gives you a macro-view of your initial vision and lets you recognize how your current vision differs from the past.

我突然发现自己穿着跟“白雪公主”一样的漂亮裙子。我走了几步，看见街道旁停着一辆红色跑车。不知是谁从远处向我扔过来一把钥匙，我仔细一看，原来是红色跑车的车门钥匙。我打开了车门，坐在座位上，我正准备把门关上，可是不知什么时候车门已经关好了。我回过头来，咦!怎么没有方向盘呢?那等会儿怎么开车呀!突然，一个声音对我说：“这辆跑车是电脑自动驾驶的。”过了一会儿，我面前的小电脑里出现了一位漂亮的阿姨，她说：“小朋友，请坐好，跑车马上就要起飞了，10、9、8、7……2、1!”呜……跑车跟火箭似的飞快地往上窜，吓得我哇哇大叫，这时候我真希望爸爸妈妈能坐在我的身边。
跑车一会儿像要撞上大楼，一会儿又来个特技“蜻蜓点水”，真是又惊险又刺激。在一阵害怕的叫声中，我已来到红星路小学。 下了跑车，我便走进了占地3公顷的宜昌市红星路小学，站在1.5公顷的大操场上呼吸着清新的空气。绕过大花坛，前面就是占地1.5公顷的教学楼，教学楼是用千年大理石做成的，有16层高。教学楼的电梯很古怪，它是一个金黄色的`月亮小船，上面还有两支土黄色的小桨。一转眼，我就来到了五年二班的教室。我走进教室，坐在第三组正数第四个位子上。叮零零，上课铃响了，我坐的好好的，背挺的直直的，等待老师来上课。可等了好半天，老师总是不来，我开始有些不耐烦了，趴在桌子上自言自语的说：老师怎么还不来呀!过了一会儿，同学们手中的作业一本一本的消失了。忽然有一个声音：同学们，昨天的作业大家完成的都很好，都是全对。咦!是谁在说话呀!一打听，原来是电脑语文老师在讲昨天的作业。叮叮叮，下课铃响了，我走着走着就到了“课间十分钟游乐园”。
游乐园里最好玩的要数“太空飞船游世界”，我坐上去，它就开始上穿下穿，左穿右穿，把我弄得晕头转向。放学了，我坐上红色跑车回家了，车子开到半空中就掉了下去，我吓得哭了起来。啊……我从梦中醒了过来。

那时候，人们不在乱砍伐树林，因为，人们知道了树木的重要和意义。工厂的黑烟不在排放到人们居住的家园，不再污染到人们居住的环境了。鸟儿在空中自由自在地飞翔，清脆的鸣叫声在空中荡漾。人们不在随地吐痰了，因为它们知道那是一个不好的行为。人们也不在乱丢果皮或纸屑了。
以前的家乡空气常会被车子的尾气污染，未来的家乡不再会被汽车的尾气污染了，大家想知道这是为什么呢?因为，未来家乡的汽车不再需要汽油，不会再排放出尾气，而是用太阳能哦!!这种汽车不但可以在有太阳光的天气开，而且是下雨天开也没关系，因数它会把太阳光转化成电力，当然也是没有尾气的。
