第一个饺子没有包成功！我不甘心，继续包第二个饺子，结果包得歪歪扭扭，像一个个醉汉躺在那儿，难看极了！再看母亲包的饺子鼓溜溜的，像圆圆的兵乓球一样厚实。我问：“母亲怎样才能包出好看的饺子？”母亲笑着说：“你看——”只见母亲拿起饺子皮放在左手上摊平。然后右手用筷子夹起一些馅，放在饺子皮上，两手合起稍一用劲，松开手，一个鼓溜溜的饺子包好了。我学着母亲的样子，将饺子皮摊放在左手上，右手夹一些馅放在饺子皮上也双手合起一用力，松开一看，饺子馅都从饺子皮中挤了出来。反复试了好多次，我才包出鼓溜溜的饺子。
吃着热乎乎的饺子我们一家人围坐在一起，诉说着自己的心愿和理想，听母亲讲春节的来历，屋子里充满了欢声笑语，其乐融融，无处不显示出春节的热闹与喜庆。
