刚下车我们就到空旷的草坪上练习站军姿。教官给我们明确了纪律和要求，大家排着整齐的路队在太阳下面一动不动地站了30分钟，我们的眼睛都被强烈的太阳光给晒花了，但是我们很好的完成了训练。
接着我们到了一个教室，学习关于绿豆的知识。绿豆的根在土里可达20至30厘米，如果绿豆的生长的很快就说明水分过多，需要排水。同一块地里绿豆的成熟期是不同的，摘绿豆的时候是根据它的外壳的颜色来判断，如果外壳是青色就说明绿豆还没有成熟，直到绿豆变成了棕褐色才可以采摘。夏天我们可以用绿豆来做出美味可口的绿豆汤，它有个重要的作用可以解毒、清热。
下午我们去农田里锄草，老师提醒我们不能只摘掉杂草的叶子，需要把根锄掉，这样杂草就不会再生长了也不会吸收土壤里的养份。有的杂草单独生长，有的.杂草则缠绕在农作物身上，象这种杂草在清理的时候一定要仔细，否则一不留神就会把农作物一起拨掉。
我们还参观了培育基地，里面有各种各样的植物，我看到了和手掌一样长的番茄苗，青色、粉色、紫色的多肉植物，还有很多我认不清名字的植物，它们居住在不同的地方，有的在方形小盒子里，有的在保温袋里，有的在三角架上。
