五一是国际劳动节，每年的这个节日，都会放假，今年连着周末，一共三天假期。
第一天，我在家里写作业，爸爸妈妈计划第二天带我和弟弟出去玩。第二天，也就是五月二日，早上刚醒来，妈妈就到我房间里，告诉我，起床以后，自己收拾自己的床，然后吃早餐，吃完早餐帮妈妈准备一些出去玩需要的东西，把水果准备好。于是，我洗了两个苹果和一个哈密瓜，切成小块，分别放进两个保鲜盒里，我又配了一些牙签，这样我们不管走到哪里想吃的时候，就很方便了。妈妈夸我很细心。一切准备就绪，我们就出发了。
今天，天气非常好，阳光明媚，风和日丽，蓝色天空下，白云显得格外洁净。我们刚走了没多久，就堵车了，大概是因为小长假里，天气格外好的原因，大家都想要出来晒晒太阳，兜兜风。车流量很大，车子移动的很慢，我真想汽车能一下飞起来，飞到我们要去的目的地。一直到一点多我们才到了目的地。由于，错过了吃饭的时间，我们肚子饿的咕咕叫，一下车，就去狼吞虎咽的大吃一顿。
吃完饭，爸爸妈妈带着我和弟弟在河边看鸭子和天鹅，弟弟开心的一路狂奔，路上捡的柳树枝，拿在手里使劲的挥着，嘴里还不停的叽里咕噜的说着一些我们都听不懂的话，时不时的摆个姿势，一二一的走着，看得出来，弟弟很开心。我和弟弟在草地上撒欢的时候，看到有人钓鱼，我们也去租了鱼竿，买了一包鱼食，钓起鱼来。好半天，我感觉有鱼上钩了，我使劲的往上一提，鱼竿没拿稳，鱼给跑了。后来就一直没有成果。旁边有位哥哥，钓上来很多，我好奇的过去瞧瞧，原来，他是用蚯蚓做的鱼饵，我看到他们把一条蚯蚓弄成两半，一半挂在鱼钩上，另一半还在小桶里挣扎着，看到这里，我心里很难过，它本来可以帮助小花小草松松土，快乐的和它的伙伴们生活着，想到这里，我没有心情继续钓鱼了，时间也差不多，我们退了鱼竿，看着天鹅在水中欢快的滑行，我们离开了那里，一路看着夕阳下的风景回家了。

It is a memory full of joy that we have 3 day off for labor’s day. To celebrate this short holiday, my uncle decided to take us to Yangmei ancient town to have a visit.
The road to the town is really painful. We waited for about 4 hours to board the ship. The mosquito on the road made my little cousin cry all the time. I felt just like it was the worst day in my life. Our car was in the end of line, and the start of the line was unknown. They said there was only one ship that only brings 8 cars at a time. I considered going home but I really wanted to have a look at that ancient town, so we waited. Thank god. The endless waiting did have an end. We arrived Yangmei at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
The town is really amazing. Modern architectural design seems no effect the buildings there. People there still live in the house make of woods and black brick. They grow plants in the house. In the hall, it is evergreen, means the family is like the plant never decays. In the front door are some flowers with bright color, or a tree with age. The family tree is on the wall. We can see the beginning of their family was Ming Dynasty. One of the restaurants there impressed me. The restaurant is an ancient house of a big and rich family. The house is old with a bed where people lay and did some reading in the old times. The most interesting thing was that there are two red bridal sedan chairs in the front door. They are telling the love and marriage in the old days. The house also has an attic. Water flows through the tube on the left side of it.
A river runs through this town, and the water is clean. We chose a riverside restaurant to have our lunch. The food there was wonderful. We had a good time there. Despite the traffic jams. Yangmei is really a good place to visit. I hope I can visit there again when all the roads and ships are ready for cars.

五一放假了，我想很多人都不想闷在家里，都想去感受一下外面的气息。但是我不一样，我这个人天生就懒，五一放假哪里也不想去，可是爸爸偏要拽着我去植物园逛逛。因为我个人就比较喜欢听一些劲暴音乐，所以他在小汽车里放起了dj舞曲，这还使我心情欢快、兴奋一些。还有最重要的是我的裤子还是用数据线代替绳子系起来的呢。
一路上花花草草，甚至还有一群调皮的小朋友在追逐打闹的放风筝，路上车辆来来往往，好一派车水马龙的景象。
爸爸选了一个合适的停车位置，我们下车之后才知道阳光是这么强烈，早知道我就应该带一个帽子，算了先玩吧，不管这些了。首先映入眼帘的是一个广场——日照城市规划展览馆，广场中间屹立着一个大圆球，我也不知道代表着什么。这里好像拍摄过《日照style 》吧，总之这里我都是不太清楚。广场四周还有喷泉，几个调皮的小孩子在喷泉旁钻来钻去，弄得一身狼狈，我们都笑的不亦乐乎。当然，在展览馆门口前还有水池，在阳光的照耀下池子里波光粼粼，一些游客都拿起鹅卵石，在池子里打起了水漂，我们都连连叫好。池子中间有一个用玻璃搭建在池子上面的台阶，你只有从这个台阶才能走进展览馆去看看里面的精彩。
“东宝，走啦！”只见爸爸在前方一声吼，因我看的入迷，并不知道他们已经走远了。我不得跑步前进才能追得上。接下来就是植物园。我记得前几次去的时候这里并没有摆小摊卖东西的啊，哦，可能是假期的缘故吧。前面居然还有卖烧烤的，这远远超出了我的想象，植物园不是注重环境，注重植物的'吗？走进烧烤摊，噢我的天！一大排啊。还有人在做烧烤的同时，放着音乐，像非洲野人、疯子一样的唱起歌。他们个个光着大膀子，还有人穿着蒙古族服装，可能是为了拉生意吧。我想送给他们一句话：简直是挣钱不要命！
植物园不就是植物嘛，就是一些花草树木，什么杜鹃啦、山茶啦、牡丹啦，总之有的是。还有一些环保人员在清理我们扔下的垃圾。这大太阳的，给花草浇浇水，让小草滋润，让花儿开放，游客们照相机也没有闲着的时候。
总而总之，络绎不绝的游客、热情好客的摊主、调皮捣蛋的孩子们，使整个植物园都是孩子们欢乐，大人们休闲的好场所。

往西瞧，那里有一个巨大的练兵台。将军正让那些士兵们练功呢。有的握长枪，有的`耍大刀，有的拿利剑，有的扛铁锤。好一派热闹的景象。
往南瞅，这是一个士兵居住的营地。这里只有一张圆桌，两个板凳，可以想象当时是多么艰苦啊!所以，我们要珍惜现在的生活。
往北见，那里有一座高大的城池，叫“征东门”。我们问爸爸：“这座城池为什么叫‘征东门’呢?”爸爸回答道：“其实这‘征东门’是为了纪念魏国征东将军‘满宠’而修建的。”我恍然大悟，缠着爸爸给我讲征东将军的故事，听完之后，非常佩服神勇的满宠将军，特别想亲自读读《三国演义》，了解他更多的故事。

Recent research seems to support the contention that Matthew Maguire， later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson， N.J， proposed the holiday in 1882 while serving as secretary of the Central Labor Union in New York. What is clear is that the Central Labor Union adopted a Labor Day proposal and appointed a committee to plan a demonstration and picnic.
