英语作文增城广场旅游【一】

苏轼曰：“日啖荔枝三百颗，不辞长做岭南人。”我不以为然，今天的我们，早已可以不用做岭南人，却都能吃上荔枝了。但对于从未谋面的荔枝树，我还是好奇的。

在广东的那几天，我们去了增城，这是中国的荔枝之乡。但现实总不如想象那么美好，我们去的时节不对，大部分的荔枝都被摘走了，只剩下为数不多的几串，而且荔枝树很高，荔枝又长在高处，很让人有望洋兴叹之感。更让人郁闷的是，地下很潮湿，泥泞难行，身边还有那一只只大蚊子，我穿着短裤，哪怕涂了风油精，但腿上还是被咬出了很多包，正应了“岭南蛊毒千山雾”之说，这绝对是一个神秘而可怕的地方。

但荔枝毕竟还是美味的，更何况刚从树上摘下，没有被防腐剂沾染过，别有一番清新之口感。我还第一次注意到荔枝其实分成两种，一种是外表刺刺的，一种是外皮没刺的。没刺的这种个头略小，但味道更佳，我吃起来完全停不下来，不过妈妈怕我上火，担心地让我悠着点。带我们的当地人呵呵地笑着，指点我们看荔枝树的附近一种叫黄皮的植物。顾名思义，这种植物的皮是黄的，个头很小，水分也很多，而且特别酸。不过，当地人告诉我们，黄皮的作用可大了，它是凉性植物，正好用来中和荔枝、桂圆的热性，因此吃多了荔枝，只要再吃黄皮就不会上火了。

大家都感慨：大自然真是很有意思，热性植物的旁边就有凉性植物，毒药的附近必有解药。妈妈说：“这不就是阴阳相克，和谐相长嘛。”
