summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

沿途的风景很美，一阵阵的桂花香，让我忘记了还有没做完的作业，让妈妈忘记了晕车，让爸爸忘记了开车的辛苦... 不知不觉就已经到了我们的目的地——海底世界。
进入“海底世界”里面的灯光不是很亮，有仿佛置身海底的.感觉。里面有各种各样的鱼，五颜六色漂亮极了，还有鲨鱼是活的哦，还有海龟，海狮，海豹。。。等等好多的海洋生物，看的我应接不暇，这时候广播响起说让游客们去欣赏‘人鲨共舞’的表演，我和妈妈也赶紧过去看表演了：里面的饲养员穿着潜水服，带着氧气罩，正准备和鲨鱼一起跳舞呢！伴随这掌声表演开始了，首先表演了给魔鬼鱼喂食，因为这种鱼的眼睛是长在背上，而嘴巴却长在肚子这边，在加上像大扇子一样的身体，估计吃东西的时候它自己是看不见的吧，可是它接饲养员投过来的小鱼功夫却是一点都不含糊的，都没有失手过呢，不时的引来游客的阵阵笑声......
接下来还请了几百岁的海龟出来和大家问好，最后总算主角鲨鱼出场了，大家都屏住呼吸生怕大鲨鱼一口就把那个饲养员给吃了，可是鲨鱼和饲养员配合的天衣无缝，完美的完成360度的把身体转成一个圈的演出，平时大家看到的凶狠的鲨鱼在这儿变得可温顺了。接下来还有海狮表演，海豹表演等等。看完表演我们去看了一场3D电影“海龟之旅”，虽然时间不长只有15分钟左右，但是我看到了海龟从出生到找到群伴的历险旅程，戴着3D眼睛看电影，真的是有身临其境的感觉，海里的珊瑚真的好美呀，好想伸手摘一个，当看到海鸥的长嘴巴啄过来的时候，我好像感觉我的鼻子也被叼走了一样，还有大鲨鱼张开大嘴的一瞬间仿佛我也被吞到它的肚子里去了......这种3D电影的效果可真有趣啊！
离开了海底世界之后我和妈妈去租了一辆双人骑的自行车，绕西湖骑了一圈，边享受双人骑车的乐趣边欣赏西湖的美景，真是愉快的一天啊！

She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. To please her,I told her one thing after another,and soon I forgot all about books. Even when I was actually reading,she would, now and then,insist that I should eat an egg or drink a cup of tea. When I left home at the end of the vacation, not a thing in my plan had been carried out. But I felt very happy. I believed much more deeply than before in the old saying: Home, sweet home. the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.
