bbc的纪录片可以说是闻名世界的，这源自于它精良的制作以及电影级别的镜头。在这部讲述中国新年的纪录片中也一样。
第一集的镜头是最美的。无论是春运的人头攒动，还是冰城哈尔滨，又或者是清晨的北京，同样的场景在bbc的镜头中就显得特别的美丽。就拿北京的大裤衩来说，这个建筑在各种镜头中不知道看过多少次，前不久才去过北京，对北京的城市风貌建筑感觉其实很一般。可是bbc的镜头中，北京显出了万全不一样的气质，更大气，更摩登了吧。最美的当属打树花了，看了之后才知道，什么叫真正的火树银花。镜头，无意是吸引我看bbc的纪录片的最主要原因。
第二集则有趣的多，主要以食物为主。看到两个歪果仁拿着木耳说是蘑菇，抱着冬瓜说是葫芦，我真是笑了。这次bbc还十分接地气的介绍了泡椒凤爪和辣条，不知道两个主持人品尝的时候是何种心情。还有混着喝白酒的桥段，真的不怕喝倒吗哈哈哈!介绍的花卉市场的拍卖倒是让我开了眼界，之前对此毫无了解。哦，对了，还有神级春晚。总体来说还算比较客观，一些比较重要的新年现象都被提及了。
第三集我不得不承认，没看完。香港的比重占据了非常大的篇幅。内容上也没什么让人耳目一新的地方。到底是干儿子啊。本来想给5星的，现在只能给4星了。
总体来说，第一集很美，第二集很有趣，总体节奏把握的很好，节奏对于纪录片来说是最重要的。唯一让我有点疲惫的是整体的讲述逻辑。看似好像很有逻辑，从北往南的几个地方，但是实际上在叙述的时候却显得很凌乱，既不是以地点来作为逻辑线，也不是以时间来作为逻辑线，各种无征兆跳跃，让人有点凌乱，大概是这个导演的风格?
