从前，有一块非常骄傲的橡皮，它每天都要帮它的小主人把错误清楚，所以它以为，自己是最重要的。
一天，小主人做完作业，就出去玩了。这时候，橡皮擦站了起来，大摇大摆地向铅笔盒那走去。“快出来吧，胆小鬼们，小主人早就出去了》”橡皮擦傲慢地说。文具们纷纷走了出来。橡皮擦走到文具们面前说：“文具们，我是大名鼎鼎的橡皮擦，你们看，我香气四溢、色泽鲜艳，可是小主人身边的‘大红人’啊！”这时，一位美丽的铅笔小姐从众文具里面走了出来，彬彬有礼地说：“你好，橡$2先生，我是铅笔小姐请问可以和你交个朋友吗？”“啊！原来你就是铅笔呀！”铅笔小姐很谦虚，可橡皮擦大声说，“就是因为你，小主人粗心的毛病才会出现，要不是我……”橡皮擦不停的怒斥道。(铅笔小姐在旁边周进没哟，面红耳赤、可怜兮兮地听着橡皮擦的教训。众文具对橡皮擦的行为非常生气，铅笔盒愤怒地站了起来，一个没站稳，不小心倒向橡皮擦，吧橡皮擦给压扁了，众文具欢呼雀跃起来。
最后，橡皮擦得到了应有的下场，而铅笔小姐取代了橡皮擦的位置，成了名副其实的大红人。
