小时候呀，我就听过母亲讲一个故事。我的母亲是一个有过故事，也有过不少阅历的中年妇人，她长相普通，气质却不凡。那是一种经历过许多，却从不为所动，淡然又冷静的气质，或许正是母亲的这种气质吧，让我十分尊敬她，她教会我的很多东西，也是学校里教不会我的。

我真的觉得很有意义，很多时候她教给我的都是她曾经经历过，吃的亏跌的.跟头，我或许从小就在她的话语洗礼中成长吧，我并不是那种十分冲动，也不是幼稚的不撞南墙不回头的孩子，我反而能把她说的话听得进去。她也很愿意和我分享她的故事和经历，更愿意教我一些道理。可在她教我的无数道理中，我却有一个道理并不是怎么明白，或许那时候年龄还是太小，多少思想还有些稚嫩，心里还有些懵懂吧。那就是母亲和我说起，授人以鱼不如授人以渔的故事了，我歪了歪头，听了听母亲讲了这句话，傻笑的咧着嘴，说道：“母亲，给我鱼不是很好嘛?我自己都不要去努力啦，有免费的午餐挨，那不是很好的事情嘛嘿嘿……”说真的，那个时候的我真的是这么想的，虽然我也知道做人要脚踏实地，是不会有免费的午餐的，可我还是忍不住的去幻想了，毕竟年龄小，而且这个世界上如果真的有免费的午餐的话，谁还愿意刻苦勤勉的工作呢?又不是傻子。

母亲也是个脾气较好的人，温和的勾起唇角，小手指一弹我的小脑瓜子，轻笑道：“你个小滑头，当然不行了!”我表示不解地看着她，她这才缓缓和我道来，原本给别人那么多的鱼，还不如教给别人垂钓的方法。因为就算你现在有再多的鱼，可是你嘴里的鱼总有一天会吃完的，可只要你会了钓鱼的方法，那么你无论何时何地都能靠着自己的双手去钓到鱼啊，那么就再也不会饿了，别人的鱼只能救你一时，可假如你学会了钓鱼的方法，你就能钓到许多的鱼，足够吃一辈子的鱼不是吗?给别人很多的鱼，并不代表你希望她好，如果你能教给她钓鱼的方法，那才是真正的好朋友啊。这道理是一样的，一个人就算有着金山银山，可人嘛都有，这金山银山挥霍的也自然极快，也总有一天，金山银山都会被消耗掉的。可假如你知道如何去赚取这金山银山，那么你得到的财富宝贝才是取之不尽的，以后你也是吃喝不愁的，因为你有方法啊!

是了，有方法可以保你一世富贵，可只有暂时的财富，却不能保证你的未来和以后。别人给你的东西也是只能保证你的一时，可你的以后怎么办呢?难道就一直凭借着别人的施舍吗?当然不行啦，肯定还是要靠你自己手中的方法去努力，去获得自己光明的以后得咯!

授之以鱼，有的带来的可能是懒惰和颓废，一些有钱的大户人家，父母操劳一生，留给孩子万贯家产、房子、汽车等，生怕自己的孩子受穷受罪，去不知道这却伤害了孩子。花天酒地的享乐之后，换来的是无尽的悲剧。在“大鱼”的诱惑下，也难免不出现“败家子”、“娇惯千金”。

授之以渔，就交给后人不予的本领，有了本领，即使遇到惊涛骇浪，也可以化险为夷。“飞鱼”菲尔普斯不想有些青年，一位地追求物质享乐。父母提供给他的是良好的训体馆和优质的教练，并非属实的生活。他需要日复一日的练习，这是一种单调的生活。但同时他的这种练习，这种奋发的练习，使他也得了一技之长，能像人类的潜能挑战。获得金牌后，他与父母深情的拥抱，向世人表示了他对父母辛苦栽培的感谢。

有鱼，不一定吃得饱;有渔，一定会活得更好。有了生存本领才能助其成长，展翅奋飞。有了后天的努力，即使再贫瘠的土地上，也会结出“你的财富”。
