地区种牛场场长陈树明有幸到乌鲁木齐参加了自治区成立60周年庆祝活动，他作为一名基层的干部，深刻的感受到家乡发生的巨大变化。
陈树明说：“特别是我们的基层，发生了翻天覆地的变化，人民的生活水平不断提高，基础设施不断加强，我们老百姓的幸福指数很高，这次我们回去以后一定要加强各民族之间的团结，带领广大干部职工，认真地学习党的路线方针政策，与党中央保持高度一致，做好我们基层的工作，特别是做好我们的民生工作，加强各民族之间的团结，维护社会稳定，为建设幸福塔城美丽塔城和谐塔城作出我们更大的贡献。”
乌苏市皇宫镇石桥村党支部书记铁来提·克力木，是全国劳动模范、自治区劳动模范。他自1988年担任村党支部书记、村委会主任以来，勤勤恳恳，一心为民，团结带领各族群众脱贫致富。10月1日，铁来提克力木作为塔城地区代表，在乌鲁木齐参加自治区成立60周年庆祝活动，他感到无比自豪和光荣。
铁来提克力木说：“现在国家惠民政策越来越多了，不管买车，买小四轮、拖拉机、种地，各方面有惠民政策，我们原来250公斤棉花单产，现在提高到400公斤没问题，现在我村300多户，已经有83辆小车，路道以前坑洼不平，晴天一身土，阴天一身泥，现在乡村道路全是柏油化，没有党和政府的好政策，我觉得没有我们今天的好日子，我们永远忘不了党和政府的恩情。”
裕民县民族团结模范代表房彩霞也参加了自治区成立60周年庆祝活动。此次大庆让她备受鼓舞，更加坚定了为建设伟大祖国、美好新疆而不懈努力的信心和决心。
房彩霞说：“我们在庆典中受到了中央代表团的接见，中央代表团对我们这些年的成绩做出了肯定，代表团团长俞正声就新疆的建设和发展作了讲话，作为一名民族团结模范代表我将在今后的工作中努力工作，将与各族人民像石榴子一样紧紧团结在一起，并祝新疆更美裕民更美。”
