星期天下午坐在自家的饭桌前，品尝着妈妈精心为我制作的水果沙拉。水果沙拉放在一个白瓷盆里，它们就像一个大家庭，其中害羞的苹果宝宝，躲在黄澄澄的黄桃爸爸后面，害羞的不敢露出淡黄色的脸蛋，橙色皮肤的橘子哥哥站在黄桃爸爸的前面保护着害羞的红了脸的樱桃妹妹。
火龙果妈妈穿着一件大红色的外套，和强壮的黄桃爸爸靠在一起。苹果宝宝和妈妈一样，披着一件深红色的大衣。樱桃妹妹套着紫色的衣服，圆滚滚的。它们每个人的身上都涂满雪白雪白的沙拉，这是它们家族的象征。我把头钻到“水果家庭”的面前，用鼻子闻了一口，顿时一种沙拉独有的味道，清香扑鼻，沁人心脾。
我从桌子上轻轻拿起叉子。小心翼翼的夹起一块黄桃，放入嘴中。开始细细品尝。轻轻放入口中，一种清凉的感觉进入了我的嘴巴。黄桃的汁液润滑了我的舌头。这味道，这感觉，仿佛我踏上了成仙之路的最后一层阶梯。我开始用力的嚼了起来，黄桃大军进入我的食管，慢慢的我的食管被他们融化透了。过了一会儿，我整个身体都有着清凉的感觉。真让人飘飘欲仙呀！
经不住诱惑，我又夹起一小块苹果，放入口中狼吞虎咽的吃了起来，吃完后我又将剩余的全部一口一口的吃完了，我吃的津津有味，一连打了三个嗝，我摸摸自己圆滚滚的肚子又望了望空空如也的白瓷盆，心里十分不舍。水果沙拉做法简单，几乎人人都会做。只要将各种各样的水果放在一个碗里，再往上面挤上沙拉酱，用筷子反复搅拌均匀，一道美味的'水果沙拉就做好了。
民以食为天，美食在中国有着渊源流长的历史。一道美味的家常菜，给中国的老百姓带来了无限的乐趣。夏日炎炎，一道清凉可口的水果沙拉是我家餐桌上的“常客”，也是我的最爱。

I think it's very important and necessary for kids to do some housework at home.
Firstly it is because they just spend too much time doing homework without having any rest. Doing housework not only help them rest but also do some body exercise. Secondly, kids should learn how hard-working their parents are and thus learn to be grateful.
For me, I can do lots of housework. For example, I can do the dishe, I can cook, I can sweep the floor, and I can also water the flowers. What's more, I can set the table and so on.
