听，说，读，写是英语教学的四大组成部分，而听又位居其首。事实证明听的能力的提高已经成为小学生英语教学重要的一部分。为了使学生听力能力有所提高，我除了让他们听课文录音外，还经常上网找下适合于他们的听力内容，如英语故事，英语歌谣等。每天布置听力作业，做到不同层次的学生听不同层次的英语。。这样既解决了学生没什么可听的难题，又为其他的骄傲向埋好了伏笔。

我认为要从课堂做起，从小事做起；要求学生做到的教师自己先要做到，并且要做得更好，这就要求教师必须学为人师，身正为范。我一直就是这样来要求勉励自己的。
在低年级学生眼里，教师是完美的化身，是榜样，教师的一言一行都受到学生的关注。因此教师的人格对学生的影响是巨大的，甚至是终生的，尤其是教师不良的行为所产生的负面影响更是无法挽回的。如果一个教师上课迟到早退，或不认真备课、随便应付，或对学生不管不问，那么这样的教师怎么能让学生有好的学习榜样？怎么能教书育人？
