在春秋时代的宋国，有一名农夫。这名农夫的个性很懒，常常抱怨工作太累了，有时还会幻想天上会自动掉下钱来。某天，农夫在田里耕作。这时突然有只兔子自己撞到树木，兔子就成了农夫一家人的晚餐。有了这次后，农夫不想再工作，每天悠闲自得的坐在树下，等着兔子自投罗网。久而久之，农田荒芜了，农夫也一事无成，这是大家熟知“守株待兔”的故事。
微生物学之父巴斯德说过:“有充分准备的人，才有最佳机会。”瓦特的例子告诉我们，成功一定是努力得来的。守株待兔的故事则告诉我们，成功是不会每次都降临的。如果想靠运气而成功，不如自己慢慢努力、持之以恒，才能有所收获。

我与一起插过队的杨二哥、心战、旦哥是保持了多年的交情至交。此次国庆自然免不了在一起坐坐聚聚。家乡的羊羔肉是西北名贵的土特产。多月不见，当然要来点好的、荤的;我们四人点了4斤，于是边吃边聊、边侃。无酒不成席，以往的惯例上辣的、白的、刺激的。可如今，随着年龄的福增，身体的福态，辣的白的就免了。同时，这也表面在喝的方面，家乡人曾经的豪迈和仗义性格，也在悄然变化着，这变化不是量、是质量。品牌啤酒一般有兰州黄河、北京雪花、青岛靓礼等，由于今年北京奥运的.缘故，我们特意点了北京雪花。4斤羊肉和着欢笑、轻松，很快被打扫干净，随后将事先点好的6个凉盘一起端上来。从前是海吃海喝，如今文雅绅士多了，从前是猜拳呐喊，如今是扑克牌，玩法是梦幻猜点子。当然，适当时候，也点缀一次大拳、小拳，用以调整气氛。不到3个钟头很快就过去。
聚的开心，吃的开心，侃的也开心。
然而，次日早上，节日后遗症终于爆发。牙痛：是的。口福是大饱了，肚皮也满意，亏了牙齿。啤酒加羊肉的综合效力，一起发作，那个痛，不叫痛，慢慢来之，轻轻发作。先是隐隐作痛，持续达数小时，继而是刃刃的，似针刺、胜似针刺，直至刺到心里。就这样，痛苦持续到现在，不肯罢休。
我忽然记得，曾经的曾经，也是这样的牙痛，啤酒羊肉;我还记得，痛的时间持续达整整一周多。此次发作，我想，至少也是这个时间周期了。
节日话题到时，该是说后悔的时候，为什么我这个人——就是不长记性?有人说，老在同一个地方犯同一个错误是最大的傻瓜，是的;今年的国庆，我算过一笔账：好好的，开开心心的，热热闹闹的，反而换来又一次牙痛的回报。节日后遗症本是国民普遍现象;今日之我，算是有了一次真的收获，是另类收获;用喜庆欢乐高兴后悔，换来一次教训，是真教训。节日出游、在家静静阅读、家人团聚、情侣相约、同事聚会等等，换来大多是盛世吉祥、国泰民安欢乐节日的喜庆、愉快和开心。而我，却收获的是另类回报。被后悔的羞辱、被不长记性自己惩罚，也亵渎了节日的美好祝愿。但：我也收获了，难道不是吗?这另类收获不也是一种值得开心、值得喜庆的吗?

Take your time
For thousands of years, animals have trodden a slow path, their spirits together with the body. But our human being's transportation is too fast. The body moves but the soul is left behind. We try to free ourselves in convenience, but we only imprison the soul. Since we invented how to count hours, we do everything to short the time, short the deadline. But the time saved can't be shorten. Nowadays, we spend lots of time staying in front of a TV just changing the channels, while we have no time to talk with a good friend or play with our family. We have plenty of time to search old news on the internet, while we hardly think about our life. In the end, the only thing apparent is our loneliness.
Take your time, please. Try to follow the natural steps and have your own clock. Try to share your time with everybody you love, share your mind, your happiness and sadness. Try to read the world we live in, do not only catch a quick glimpse at the society.Someday, when we know how to spend every second in our life, we can then live our own life.
