只见消防车停在了我们的小区里，我的心更紧张了。我向四周一看，原来对面小区里的一块草坪着火了，已经是浓烟滚滚，直冲云宵，火苗一直在蔓延。消防叔叔迅速把水管接到水闸上，大家齐心协力以最快的速度扑灭了这场火。
四周已经围了许多人，他们都在一旁窃窃私语，议论纷纷。有的说：“就是那群小男孩每天乱放鞭炮，一点着火就往草地上扔，这下可好，事情闹大了!”
“是啊，是啊，现在他们还越来越调皮，还在你的脚边放，专门吓唬你哩!”“哎——他们现在一天到晚不停的放，弄得大家都睡不好觉。”
这时一位老人严肃地说：“我看，为了不再发生由放鞭炮引起的火灾，应该让那些家长好好管教，否则后果不堪设想......”
消防车开远了，人群也散了，这场大火幸亏被及时发现，迅速扑灭，小区安全终于得到了保障。
我想：这次大火还是由孩子们乱放鞭炮引起的，春节期间大人们应该把自己的孩子管好，要以此为诫，告诉他们火的危险性和火的危害等知识，让他们注意放鞭炮安全。
