鲜花感恩雨露，因为雨露滋润它成长;苍鹰感恩长空，因为长空让它飞翔;高山感恩大地，因为大地让它高耸;我感恩，很多很多的人然而在今天这个特殊的日子里，我要感恩我的'爸爸。
那是今年的父亲节，爸爸在客厅里看着报纸，而我则在卧室里聚精会神地看着书。忽然，我突然想起，今天是父亲节!我想送给爸爸一个特别的节日礼物，作为父亲节的感恩。我冥思苦想：“到底送什么呢?对了!记得我看过一本书，书中说捶背可以刺激背部组织与穴位，再通过神经系统和经络传导，促进局部乃至全身的液循环，提高机体免疫力和抗病能力。好，我就为爸爸捶捶背吧!”
于是，我放下手中的书，径直走向客厅。爸爸见我来到他身旁，便放下报纸，对我说：“女儿，有什么事需要我帮忙吗?”我搬来一张椅子，笑着对爸爸说：“爸爸，我来为您捶捶背吧!”爸爸在一刹那间的惊诧后，报之以一脸微笑 我拉着爸爸在椅子上坐下后，用虚掌轻柔而有节奏地拍打着爸爸的脊椎两侧，心想：“爸爸还不知道，今天是父亲节吧!我先将这个秘密留在心里，让爸爸好好享受一次吧!”拍打了十多分钟后，我又攥紧拳头，轻轻地锤着爸爸的背部。我问爸爸：“爸爸，女儿手法怎么样?”爸爸闭着眼睛享受着，说：“真是太舒服了!”
然后我手握空心拳，以腕发力，刚柔快慢适中，自上而下至腰部，认认真真的敲打着，为爸爸缓解着工作中的劳累。看着爸爸夹杂着些白丝的头发，我从心里泛出一阵隐隐的痛，鼻子也禁不住发酸。是啊，爸爸照顾了我那么多年，在学习中遇到困难，他总是帮我解答;在失败后，他总是鼓励我：“今天的失败孕育着明天的成功!”;在我心情低落时，他总是把我拉到一旁，轻声安慰我现在，爸爸为了家，连今天是父亲节都忘记了!真是“父爱如山，母爱似海”啊!
最后，我用小手用尽全身力气捏着爸爸的肩膀，随着爸爸的脸上笑容的展开，疲累也越来越少，我的心情也莫名其妙地清朗起来。我把手放在爸爸的肩上，四个手指放前，大拇指放后，一边推，一边揉，最后拍了拍爸爸的肩。
我对爸爸说：“爸爸，我捶完了，这下您不会这么疲劳了吧!”爸爸转过身来，伸手抚摸着我的头：“孩子，你长大了!”随后，我猛然发现，爸爸的眼圈红红的!哦，爸爸，男儿有泪不轻弹，我不过是做了一丁点儿我该做的事而已
其实，父亲的爱，总是默默地传递给我们，虽然不像母爱那样明显，但是父爱也同样包含着深情。我想，这个父亲节，爸爸一定过得很开心吧!
“鸦有反哺之义，羊有跪乳之恩”，这次父亲节的感恩，我永远不会忘记的!愿天下每个孩子，都来做个感恩父母的好孩子吧!

It has been two weeks since I last wrote to you. I am so sorry that I don‘t write you very often.
However, I have been busy with my preparation
for the final exams. As you know, I‘m coming home on Jan.14th. But before that, I have to take the final exams for all six classes I‘m taking this semester. Recently I have been in and out of the library a lot to do some research on the term paper for one of the classes. Most professors gave out the review problems already so that the students can study for the final. I think I‘m doing okay studying for the final.
Besides reviewing materials, I‘m also planning to host the New Year party of my department. You know there are so many talented people in my Communications major, but they picked me to host the party! Great, isn‘t it?
