很多人不自信是因为自卑心理，自己认为自己不行，自己都放弃了希望，那么又能期望从别人那儿获得希望吗？所以我认为相信自己是取得成功的基石。但这并不代表我们可以拒绝听取别人的意见。走你自己的路，让别人说去吧！听起来固然十分潇洒，但并不没有人能够真正做到。诚然，我们应当坚持自己的信念，不为外人所干扰。但当别人是真诚地向你提出建议时，我以为我们应当虚心接受。满招损，谦受益指的就是过度的自信会招致损失，而虚心地接受他人的意见则会得当好处，这就要求我们要学会正确处理相信自己与听取别人意见的关系。
相信自己而不盲目自信，谦虚地接受别人意见而不盲目听从，要充分地了解和认识自己，知道自己的能力和善长的方面，在能够自信并且善长的方面充分地相信自己，而在不太了解的领域或是不太懂得的时候适当地听取他人的意见，结合自己的想法做出正确的`判断。
人生的道路十分漫长，前进中布满了荆棘。我们总是面临着一次又一次的转折。如何迈进每一步都要我们自己做出抉择。没有人能够帮助我们，我们必须依*自己，必须相信自己踏出的每一步都是正确的，无悔地走下去。常问路的人不会迷失方向，我们不能依*他人，但我们可以征求他人的意见，寻找最好的方法。在成长的过程中，我们已经逐渐明白如何相信自己，正如听取别人善意的建议那样，我们走着自己的道路，接受别人理性的指正，道路似乎不再崎岖，我们仿佛可以看到彼岸的希望。
相信一切人和怀疑一切人，其错误是一样的。我们反对极端的想法，我们也拥有辩别是非的能力。正确地认知自己的位置和想法，仔细地思考他人的意见，将相信自己与听取别人的意见结合起来，作到谨言慎行，坚实地迈出你人生的每一步，在不远处一定会看见彩虹。
