summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

一到国庆节，街上就热闹起来了。
这里的车子一辆接着一辆，首尾相连，就像一条长龙。有小轿车、出租车、公共汽车、面包车、自行车……
这里人山人海，人流入潮。有白发苍苍的老人，有天真可爱的小孩，有身材苗条的小姑娘，连满头金发的老外也赶来凑热闹了。
这里的商品琳琅满目。
有五花八门的水果，有名贵的手表，有金光闪闪的黄金首饰，有香喷喷的烤鸭，还有时髦漂亮的衣服。
各家店主抓紧时机，使出自己的“独门绝招”招揽顾客：有的印了许多宣传单来发，有的边拍手边吆喝，有的干脆拿起话筒吆喝起来。
街边的小吃店也是宾客盈门。逛了半天的人们大概肚子饿坏了，纷纷涌进店里，品尝着热腾腾的菜。可怜的服务员忙得晕头转向了。客人吃饱喝足后，大把的钞票都进了老板的腰包。
不知不觉中，已经十二点了，我只好依依不舍地离开了热闹的街市。

在国庆节的第四天二姨从郑州来了，我们中午吃过饭后就去浮桥那边的沙滩玩。
一共带小孩子有11个人，我们开了两辆车去，还带了许多挖土的工具，我们到那后就脱了鞋子玩，我还上了沙坡从沙坡上滑了下来，好好玩 ，我有带着最小的妹妹才一岁几个月，一起去上沙坡，还一起滑了下来，我们几个小孩子还一起做了一个小的滑梯（一岁的小妹妹和一岁的弟弟的也滑了）表弟和我弟弟好做了一个超级大的滑梯 ，我们还挖了土，我还在沙滩上刻下了我的名字中的\"可\"，但妈妈没给我照相，但我还是很开心！
我们玩过后就走了。我希望黄河的水可以伴随我们，把十一节假日的烦恼飘走，留下快乐！

玉屏楼被称为\"黄山绝胜处\"是最妙的观松处。最有名的迎客松，她枝干粗壮有力，在悬崖边向山下的游客伸出手臂，好像欢迎游玩的客人。
经过百步云梯和龟蛇雕塑，构成了一幅幅融伟、奇、秀、险为一体的天然画卷。

今天是一年一度的国庆节。我们一家人决定出去东江边野餐。
我们来到了野餐的地点。我捡柴，哥哥搬石头搭炉。因为刚下过雨，地上的柴都是湿的。只有隐藏在草丛中的柴才是干的。我穿着短裤穿过一丛丛草。草把我的.大腿弄的痒痒的，我用双手拼命抓，腿上出现了一道道红红的爪子痕。我们继续往前走，我和弟弟同时发现一条长长的柴，不约而同的向那条柴扑过去。我俩撞在了一起，“哎呦！我的头啊！”我俩又异口同声地叫起来。真是有趣极了！
捡完了柴，哥哥也把两个炉搭好了，爷爷把两个煲分别放在两个炉里。在做饭时，我们跑到江边扔石头，把石头扔进江里。我得意地说：“我们比一比，谁扔得远！”弟弟说：“好。”我拿起一颗石头用力地扔向江里，石子在江面上一起一伏地滑向远方，江里荡漾起波纹，好看得很。弟弟也拿起石子一扔，可没扔多远石子就沉下去了。“哈哈！我比你远！”我大声地说。弟弟垂头丧气的走了，我赶了上去安慰道：“弟弟你终有一天能赢我的。”
“开饭啦！”爷爷从远处大喊。我们马上跑回去，拿起碗打了一勺饭，津津有味地吃起来。饭菜太好吃了，我足足吃了3碗饭喝了1碗汤。“今天的饭菜实在是太好吃啦！”我摸着我那涨涨的肚子大声喊。弟弟跑过来自信的说：“总有一天我会赢你的！”我想：我弟弟真棒！
啊，今天过得真开心！我喜欢今年的国庆节！我真希望每年的国庆节都这样过！
