问号暴跳如雷地大声说：“感叹号，我也能发射风火轮啊！而且，表示疑问的时候，都要用到我。”
冒号得意洋洋地说：“哼，我才是最厉害的。你看，你们都是一个人，我有两个同伴，我可是团结高手呢。并且，表示说话的时候，句子跑了，我还可以派我的同伴抓住它呢！”标点符号们慢慢地吵了起来。

突然，厨房里传来了一阵激烈的吵闹声。原来是餐具兄妹为了谁先洗澡的问题，吵了起来。只听勺子妹妹说：我是餐具中的老大，主人要用我吃饭！我应该先洗澡。筷子姐姐一听，直起了身子，咯咯地笑了，说：我才是老大呢，主人要用我夹菜，你难道让小主人只吃白米饭？如果没有我，主人就尝不到美味可口的菜啦！所以呢，我要先洗！碗弟弟一听，不高兴了，他粗声粗气地说：什么话，我是老大，没有我，主人拿什么装饭，用什么盛汤？这次洗澡，我先洗！
这回，轮到锅铲哥哥不高兴了，他啪啪啪地敲着锅子边沿说：我要先洗澡，因为这桌子上所有的菜都是我做出来的，我连滚烫滚烫的油都不怕，你们行吗？我先洗！我先洗！就在他们闹哄哄吵成一团的'时候，电饭锅爷爷走出来不紧不慢地说：好了，好了，别吵了，你们啊，都是小主人的好帮手。个个呀，都很重要，小主人缺了谁都不行。快别吵了，再吵，小主人就要被你们吵醒了。接着，电饭锅爷爷又给他们讲了一些道理，餐具兄妹们终于安静了下来，因为他们明白了，桌子上的美味佳肴都是他们同心协力、发挥各自专长的结果。
没过多久，餐具兄妹们一个个按次序洗完了澡，干干净净地站在那里，等着下一次工作的开始呢！
