我曾经也是个贪玩的孩子，我梦想过坐着大大的糖果海盗船去冒险，看了你的故事，我更向往过上和你一样的生活了，你那满脑子稀奇古怪、好玩的事，我多么想参与进去，我曾幻想成为你出海探险的朋友中的一员，我们躺在小小的甲板上看星星，津津有味地听你讲述你的恶作剧。
小时侯，我也曾爬到高高的橱柜上偷糖吃，小孩子总是受不住糖的诱惑。不过也有被发现的时候，但是，最疼爱我的祖母总是轻轻地打我的手心，帮我擦掉嘴边的糖渍，她很爱我。汤姆，你的姨妈也很爱你吧，因为她总是容忍你的恶作剧。我想对你说，别再让她担心你了。

They had some strange ways of describing their hunger. For instance, there was“I’m starving to death”,“I’m famished”, and“I’m so hungry, I could eat a horse”, which has a similar expression in Chinese; I’m sure you know the one. Therefore, I asked for leave for four days to stay at home. I came back to school until the midterm examination. I was not surprised that I did not do well in the exam. It makes me unhappy. I worked so hard to prepare for it. My parents comfort me that I would be better if I had not been ill. I hope I can recover soon. And I hope you can take good care of yourself.

Next we expressed our thands to our parents who brought us up and to our teachers for their education. Then our teachers gave us cards with good wishes. Finally, we had wonderful performances. I learned a lot from the activity. I am sure the ceremony is very important for us. From then on we will know our responsibilities as grown-ups.
