有一次，妈妈跟阿姨有一次在玩躲猫猫，阿姨在想着要藏哪里时，突然灵机一动：藏在房间里的瓷缸里。可是，阿姨躲进去之前，并没有考虑到能不能里面呼吸的问题。于是，阿姨就用手指顶住盖子，腾出一点小缝隙，阿姨在为自己的聪明感到沾沾自喜的时候，并没有意识到在外面看来那个盖子是遥遥晃晃的。
妈妈走进来看到那个瓷缸的盖子摇摇晃晃的，当即就断定那里面肯定有人。她的心里紧张得怦怦直跳，可妈妈还是鼓起勇气故装镇定地轻轻走过去，猛地把盖子掀开这时，阿姨突然站了起来喊了几声惊天动地的：“啊”……只听得“哗啦啦”几声响，妈妈被吓得随之叫喊起来，手上的盖子摔了下去。
外婆闻讯而来，看见了瓷缸盖子被摔得“粉身碎骨，”顿时暴跳如雷，顺手抄起鸡毛掸子，要打妈妈，妈妈见状连忙向外跑去，跑了一段时间之后，看见外婆没追来，就一直躲在小伙伴家中。天黑了，迫不得以也只能回家了。最后，外婆没有打妈妈，因为妈妈勇敢的承认了自己的错误。
