As is shown above, a leader father is sitting in the chair with a seal grasping in the hand, and a lot of money beside him. He seriously said to his son that there is more to life than just money -it is power. Simple as the picture is, but a profound truth is reveled in the picture.
I surely disagree with father ’s philosophy. As a leader, he shouldn ’t use his power to make money. It is his duty to serve people wholeheartedly, just one person said “with great power comes great responsibility ”. If he stick to his philosophy. I believe that he will spend the rest of his life in prison. What’s worse, he could affect his son ’s philosophy, guiding him in the opposite direction , nothing can be done to reverse the trend itself. The only solution is to change father ’s philosophy. Because of many greedy officials in China, it is time to reverse the trend itself by establishing new policy. As Chinese always has been our confidence that we can change for the better and better.
In my opinion, there is more to to life than just money -it is happiness, nothing is important than happiness. We can live a colorful life in our spare time.

我将来要去北京英语作文五年级【二】
北京故宫，是我们一家向往的地方。这个寒假，我们终于如愿以偿。
那天，我们来到北京故宫。这古老的宫殿在白雪的覆盖下银装素裹，显得更加雄伟壮观。
我们从端门走进了北京故宫，走过午门，我突然感觉在哪儿听到过“午门”一词？爸爸当起了导游，他笑着对我说：“当初，皇宫内有人犯了罪，皇帝就说‘午时三刻，推出午门外，斩立决！’午门指的就是这个地方。”
紧接着，我们穿过太和门，来到太和殿。介绍牌上写到：太和殿是皇帝上朝的地方。殿中有72根大柱子，其中6根是镀金的，上面有金龙盘绕。看到这里，爸爸的口水“飞流直下三千尺”自言自语道：“6根镀金，那值多少钱呀！”说完后情不自禁地咽了一口口水。我透过栏杆往大殿里瞧，呵！我才明白什么叫金碧辉煌！皇帝的宝座是镀金的，扶手是镀银的，4个香炉是檀香木做的，显得富丽堂皇。
太和殿后面是中和殿，中和殿是皇帝上朝前休息的地方。让人惊叹的是中和殿后的一块石雕，长16.57米，宽3.07米，厚1.7米，有200多吨重。上面刻的是波涛汹涌的大海和腾云驾雾的飞龙，绝对是鸿篇巨制啊！
我看着看着，觉得奇怪，这么大一块石头，古代又没有拖车，那怎么运到这儿来的呢？原来，在冬天，古人们往路上浇水，路变成了冰道后，人们才把石头拖到北京故宫的。仅运这一块石头就用了1万多人力。
这次参观北京故宫的收获真大。我更深刻地感受到了祖国那深厚的文化底蕴、悠久的历史，我为我是一个中国人而自豪！

大家都知道去北京必须去的旅游景点吧!没错，那就是长城、故宫、天坛和鸟巢水立方，我今天就去了我今天就去了长城，都说“不到长城非好汉”不去那儿怎么行呢?
我们来到了长城脚下，景象却令我大失所挫，这哪是长城呀这完全就是个集市嘛!长城脚下的纪念品琳琅满目，各式各色样样都有，我们随便找了一个人问才明白：原来长城还没有到，还要往上走。这时大家看到了缆车，都要去做，不过，我们小孩不同意，但是少数服从多数，大人们凭借着人多的优势把我们拉去坐缆车了。在缆车上我们往下看，哇塞，只见长城像一条大蛇一样，在陡峭的山上滑行似的，我现在真惊叹古代人的工艺呀!
到了一半，我们就开始爬了，爬了一会儿，我发现长城每隔一会儿就会到一个“回”字形的一个小碉堡，是供古代人站岗和休息的，让我不禁想起了“烽火连三月”的情景。大家都说长城奇是奇在建在陡峭的山峰和长的，但我认为长城奇还因为虫子种类繁多，这里到处都是虫子，七星瓢虫、红蜘蛛、黑寡妇......样样都有!还有一些不知名的小虫，在长城上，你只要随便一看，都会是虫子!刚开始爬都是，我们一起的，可是后来，家长们越爬越慢，路越爬越陡峭，于是我爬一段陡峭的地方就等一下后面的家长，等他们过来后就继续追前面的妹妹他们。当我们登上长城时，又做了滑道下来，滑道是一个非常危险的体育运动，稍有不慎，就有可能被抛入山野中，我是和妈妈做的，我来控制快慢，往前推就是快，往后拉就是慢，妈妈叫我，一直慢慢的走，可是后面的爸爸一直追着我们不放，我们只得快一点点，到了最后一个弯，我跟妈妈讲，都最后一个弯了，就刺激一下吧!妈妈同意了，于是我把杆子往前使劲一推，滑轮立刻飞快的冲了出去，哇，太刺激了，就像是墨杜萨台风袭来一样!就这样我们回到了长城脚下。一路上，我都在回味那儿的景色。

偶然翻动书页，竟从中滑落一片银杏叶，纵式的纹理在叶面上凸显，好似褪去金黄色外衣的古老油纸。
记忆的船缓缓摇进时间的河。那一次，我与北京相约。
火车驶了一夜才到北京，一下车便仿佛步入一个鼎盛的王朝。飞檐流金，霓虹溢彩，城门与高架桥齐飞，名园与广场一色，传统元素与新潮流相处和谐，我不禁高呼：“北京，我来啦！”
犹记得老舍的《四世同堂》中，那草木葳蕤的小羊圈胡同，沉淀着爱国主义者的深情，承载着亡国的苦难。辗转乘了几次地铁，出站南锣鼓巷，眼前并无高楼，而是用朴素的灰铺就的迂回巷道，如走进老屋时撞见的插在旧瓶中的一支芦苇，虽朴素平常却拨动内心的弦，百转千回。
北京人是善于在平凡中寻找情趣的。“总布胡同”“炒豆胡同”，从这些名字中依稀可以窥见那牵动人们生活的炊烟，轻轻淡淡地笼住几声鸟鸣，继而在蓝天散去。走入一条胡同，蓦然与一宅院邂逅。据说那是清代某户贵族的府邸，一道道高墙封住了闺中人对秋天的所有情思，唯见一棵银杏似哨兵高高瘦瘦地立着，小扇似的金叶缀了满满一枝头，风吹叶摇，一纸一纸的金黄翩跹飞落，似蜻蜓颤动金色的翅膀。
休息片刻，便去了香山。面前不是五岳般的险峻山峰，而是绵长开阔的缓坡，两旁的店铺鳞次栉比：暖黄的葫芦上飘着红丝带；京剧的生旦净丑，或巧笑倩兮，或怒睁嗔目，或花脸招摇……这一切怎能不唤起对传统文化的认知？
香山的枫叶只尖上泛点点朱色，似小姑娘脸上泛起的红晕。倒是银杏花枝招展，戴着金色的步摇，一步乐，一步一欢笑。
“那里，那里！”循着人们欢喜的目光看去，一棵枫树，“小枫一夜偷天酒”，秋日的醉意给它抹上了烈焰红唇，舍不得碰——红得那么透明，那么彻底，是秋日天空下璀璨的红水晶。于是乎，捡一落叶，聊以纪念。
火车穿过无边的田野，回头看，京都的轮廓渐渐淡出视线。掏出那枚红叶再看，它分明描绘了古都的历史，绣出了明日的辉煌。

7月3日，我们来到了承德，这次我们住的地方是一个四合院，院子的四个角落里各种了一棵樱桃树，树上结满了又大又红的樱桃，院子中间有一个用葡萄藤搭成的凉亭，藤上结的是一串串很小的青葡萄，外婆说这个葡萄还不能吃。院子周围是一排长廊。走出院子，门口还有梨树。
下午五点多，太阳下山了，我们开始爬金山岭长城了。这个时间挑的真好，一点都不热，还很凉爽。在正式通往金山岭的小路上有很多盛开的鲜花，一大片一大片金黄色的，周围还有松树，上面有很多松果，有已经成熟的咖啡色的松果，还有很多不太熟的绿色的松过，绿色的松果粘粘的，放在手上有一股清香，我捡了好多。
金山岭长城是明朝时期戚继光修的，是万里长城中的精华部分，它的最高点是将军楼。我爬过八达岭长城，金山岭的路没有八达岭那么陡，不过爬起来还是很累，因为它的台阶还是很高，有几个台阶需要我手脚并用，真的是在爬。在长城上走，有一个一个瞭望台，我从瞭望台望出去，感觉长城蜿蜒曲折，看不到尽头，真的非常宏伟。站在将军楼上可以看到很远，我想古时候戚继光将军一定经常站在这里观察敌情，思考战术。金山岭长城中有一段我印象很深刻，它看上去已经非常残破了，碎的砖头堆了一地，长城壁上也是伤痕累累，在它的前面已经没路可走了，我正纳闷，领队叔叔告诉我的面上有一道长长的窄窄的口子，这就是出路，原来如此。
下山的小路很幽静，几乎看不到其他人，我觉得肚子饿了，今天晚上又可以吃津酱肉丝了。

自从学了关于首都北京的课文，我就一直向往着去看一看，想不到这个暑假完成了愿望。有一天清晨，妈妈忽然发现过两天的高铁有票，于是马上抢，居然抢到。因为外公家族那边都是铁路人，所以我很想坐一坐据说最快的铁路——高铁。这样就可以一次过满足了我的两个愿望——坐高铁去北京！
当我踏上高铁，感觉许多东西都很新奇。车厢里很干净，没有其他火车那样有股异味，车上有洗手池，冷热热水，每个车厢还有显示列车的时速，最快居然达到309公里的时速，好快啊！
经过八个小时的车程，我们在下午到达了北京西站。因为妈妈去过许多次北京，而且做好了攻略，所以很快就到了入住的酒店——北京首都大酒店。听说这酒店以前只接待外宾的，但现在我们也能入住。晚上我们去了附近著名的王府井大街。北京街头有许多警察，北京西站有，王府井大街这也有。我们去了很出名的全聚德吃烤鸭。虽然味道不错，但我觉得还是我们广东的＊＊＊鹅更好吃更便宜。
接下来几天，我们没有去人挤人的著名景点，因为妈妈说北京城里都是景。我们去了恭王府、北海公园、北京＊＊＊等，还去了许多很有特色的胡同。恭王府听说是清朝一个的家里，真的好大好大，我们足足逛了一个多小时才走完。府里面有许多房子，还有山和湖，就好像一个大公园一样。这次旅程北京＊＊＊是我们必去的地方，因为课本上写得很好。我们是下午去看降旗的，虽然＊＊＊广场非常大，但很多人，当看到解放军叔叔降下旗，护旗经过金水桥进＊＊＊时，大家都很激动。北京的胡同真多，而且很漂亮，在一处街头，我看见一间很有中国特色的房子，他的屋顶是尖尖的，门窗红红绿绿的，最漂亮是那些窗子上的玻璃，七彩缤纷，好漂亮啊！
北京真的很美，怪不得以前的皇帝都把这作为首都。这次的五天旅行实在不够，我希望有时间再来！
