嗨，镇上好不热闹。有卖肉、卖菜的，有卖牲口的，有卖农具的，人们接踵摩肩，走来走去。那叫卖声、讨价还价声、铁器的叮当声，汇成了一曲“市场交响乐”。太阳象个大火球，无情地向人们施加热量。我把外衣脱了还热，二叔那装着鸡蛋的`担子在肩上换来换去，汗一个劲地往下淌；爷爷则不住地用搭在肩上的毛巾擦汗、扇风。“日头太毒了！”我们找了个阴凉的地方放下了担子。
摆好摊子，二叔开始招揽顾客：“大婶，要鸡蛋不？给孩子熬稀饭，可有营养呢。”“大嫂，买些蛋滋补身子吧！”爷爷则在一边摆蛋，忽然他发现几个坏蛋，平日舒展的眉头皱了起来。
“二仔，”爷爷叫二叔，“你过来。”
“啥事呀？”二叔走过来问。
爷爷有些生气地指着坏蛋问：“这蛋我昨晚刚挑出来的，你咋又把它混进来了！”
二叔有点支吾地说：“这……爹，别管它。卖了，还多得几个钱。这年头，谁不想多赚几个钱啊？”
“不行，咱自个儿都不吃，怎能卖给人家？这昧心钱，咱一定不要！”爷爷声音不高，却字字句句敲打着二叔的心。二叔他动了动嘴角，没吱声。爷爷叹一声，说：“二仔，你不想想，人家买了这蛋，回家咋想？咱不能认钱不认人啊！”说着，把坏蛋捡在一边。二叔也蹲下，不声不响地把蛋捡出来放在一边。
我看着爷爷的一举一动，默不作声。猛然间，爷爷那瘦小的身躯变得高大起来，我须仰视才行。这时，我耳边又响起爸爸的话：“孩子，做人要做爷爷那样的人……”
