清明节三天长假中的第一天，我就非常无聊。爸爸提议说：“我们去鼓浪屿玩怎么样?”我和妹妹异口同声地说：“好啊!”于是，我们踏起了去鼓浪屿的脚步。
首先，我们来到轮渡，买坐船的票。这里人山人海，我们挤在人群中，那种望不到天的感觉可真难受啊!不知过了多久，轮船来了，我们不约而同地上了船。
过了一会儿，我们听到了“叮呤呤”的声音，鼓浪屿到了，大家陆续下了船。我贪婪地呼吸着新鲜空气，问爸爸：“接下来要去哪儿?”爸爸思量片刻，说：“就去日光岩吧!”
我们来到日光岩脚下，抬头一看，群峰陡峭的山石印入我的眼帘。我不禁倒退了几步。爸爸仿佛看穿了我的心思，说：“加油，你一定能行!”我鼓起勇气，开始爬着这陡峭的山岭。爬到半山腰时，我已经满头大汗，不想再爬了。可是，一想到做事不能半途而废，就又爬了起来。
不知爬了多久，一丝丝凉风迎面而来。我抬起头，兴高采烈地说：“太好了，我们到山顶了!”站在山顶眺望，四周云雾迷蒙，在路上飞快行驶的小车，像蚂蚁一样小。房子也都像火柴盒一样小，真有“一览众山小”的感觉。
爬了日光岩，我们还去了皓月园、菽庄花园等一些好玩的地方，开心极了!
鼓浪屿，这地方虽然小，却能给人带来巨大的欢乐。

这个清明节，我去了妈妈的老家。在那儿，有很多我们城市里看不到的东西。
我首先来到了妈妈小时候读过的小学。我们要走的路太窄了，田埂小路只能容下一个人行走。“呀！”我尖叫一声，原来，因为连日下雨，路上很滑，我差点摔一跤。我艰难地跋涉，经过一片油菜地，终于到了学校门口。“咦”有惊喜！我在门口墙上发现了很多蜗牛，背着沉沉的壳四处攀爬。进了校门，看见妈妈小时候读的学校太破烂了，就连乒乓球台都是石头做的。石板砌的操场很小，石板缝里长满了杂草。教室里全是石板凳和石桌子，阴暗潮湿，光线也不好。不像我们学校整齐、干净，操场很大，而且还有艺术楼。
参观过妈妈的学校后，我们继续前行。“咕咕，咕咕”，当我肚子饿得快要走不动的时候，我们来到一座房子前，那里住的是我的姨婆。妈妈说肚子饿了想吃饭，就需要劳动，自己动手，丰衣足食。我们家里做饭用的是天然气，可姨婆家里烧的是木柴。于是我背上小竹筐，上到楼上搬柴火。等我把柴火背到厨房，已经筋疲力尽了。但是不能休息，饭还没做好，我又学着往火塘里添柴。终于，在我们大家共同努力下，一顿丰盛的午餐做好了，摆了满满一桌。
吃过午饭，我们又去了妈妈小时候住过的地方。房子已经垮掉了，只剩下地基和墙柱，长满了杂草。我可以想象妈妈小时候生活条件有多么艰苦，我现在的生活多么幸福！虽然这次假日走得很辛苦，但我却过得很快乐，爸爸说我们这是一次寻根之旅。
