龙在天空中自由地飞翔，它越飞越远，最后它飞到了另一座城市的上空。飞了这么远，一直没有人和龙说话，龙感到十分寂寞。这时，一只黄色的\'小鸟从龙身旁飞过，龙连忙打了一声招呼：“你好”。小鸟回头一看，见是神话中的龙，吃了一惊，不过，小鸟很快回过神来，兴奋又无比激动地说：“你好，龙大哥。”
“你是从什么地方来的？”龙好奇地问。一听到这话，小鸟刚才还挂满笑的脸上立刻堆满了忧，两条眉毛拧在一起，愁眉苦脸地说：“我从遥远的南方一个小村庄飞来的，因为那个山村很热，连续几个月没下一滴雨，地都裂开了，人们没有一滴水喝，有的?鹚懒耍?械目仕懒恕！彼底潘底牛?∧窬尤豢奁鹄戳恕
龙听了，也十分同情那些人们，于是，它对小鸟说：“小鸟，别哭了，你坐在我身上指路，我可以很快地飞到那个村庄。”小鸟高兴极了，连连点头，它感激地对龙谢了又谢。
随着“呼呼”几声响，龙载着小鸟来到了小村庄，果然，在一片空地上，许多人抱着自己的亲人痛哭着。龙实在不忍心再看下去，它张大嘴巴，深深地吸了一口气，然后又吐出来，刹那间，整个村庄狂风大作，电闪雷鸣，紧接着，就哗哗啦啦地下起了倾盆大雨。顿时，人们都象哥伦布发现新大陆似的欢叫着蹦跳着，脸上洋溢着幸福的微笑。这时，奇迹发生了，大地的裂口慢慢地合上了，上面还长满了绿草和野花，到处生机勃勃，欣欣向荣。
小鸟看到了这般景象，飞到一颗柳树上与同伴们唱起了欢快的歌。
龙看着已得到解脱的人们，淡淡一笑，便驾云而去。从今以后，龙决定要飞到世界的每一个角落，拯救那些要面临亡的人们。
