在一个盛夏的夜晚，我和妈妈一起在小区里散步。
随着夜幕降临，白天的炎热似乎被吓跑了，徐徐的微风拂过我的脸庞，将大地上的热气吹的一干二净，身子顿时感觉到丝丝凉意。放眼望去我看到每一栋居民楼都灯光闪烁，树下的长椅上到处是一些聊天的阿姨，还有一些三五成群的孩子们正在快乐的玩耍，嬉戏，有的玩滑板，有的在溜旱冰，有的骑单车……那是夏天的夜晚要比白天热闹啊！
走着走着，我们就来到了小区中心，只听见一曲优扬动听的音乐缓缓响起，在灯光的照射下，一群女士们跳起了优美热情的广场舞。
那些不起眼的小花小草们也在风娃娃的鼓动下向大家热情的招手；大树上的树叶也跟着风而一起摇晃；不再是活力不现；可爱的小狗们也不再是白天的气喘吁吁的样了；树上的蝉在枝头开音乐会；一群群提着小灯笼的萤火虫为它们点亮灯！蟋蟀也为它们弹奏钢琴来伴奏，美丽的蝴蝶也在乐曲中翩翩起舞，好一个动听的夏啊！
不知不觉，我们散步到了荷花池，只见荷叶挤挤的，有的中间还有几朵荷花，甚至有一些和花谢了成了一个个大大的莲蓬。风一吹，那荷叶、荷花、莲蓬都会摇曳生姿，仿佛是一群热情四溢的巴西女郎在跳动着。看，那里还有一些小孩光脚在荷花池里玩耍。有时一些调皮的小鱼也会啄一啄他们的小脚，惹得孩子们大声尖叫。还有的孩子们泼一泼水，水珠在荷叶上滚动好像一颗颗美丽的钻石，漂亮极了。小鱼儿在水中游来游去，小青蛙也在荷叶上”呱呱呱“的叫着来凑热闹，好一个热闹的夏啊！
