大家知道，世界地球日是几月几号吗？我告诉你是在1970年4月22日美国总统布什宣布，把这一天作为美国法定的地球日，并呼吁公民积极投身到改善环境的行动中去。后来到了1990年4月22日这一天，全世界已有100多个国家举行了各种各样的环境保护宣传活动，参加入数达几亿人。从那时起，“世界地球日”才具有国际性，成为“世界地球日”
在那一天，人们不准砍树，不准鸟，不准排放污水等……
地球也在那一天“受到了最好的待遇”但是我个人觉得，环保日仅仅一年一次是不够的，现在我们已经在地球上留下了深深的“创伤”如撒哈拉沙漠。海还有。现在长江已经变成了臭水沟，星星少了，空气越来越糟糕了，许多淡水河也被污染了……现在在我们一天天折磨下，我们的地球，我们的地球母亲，我们赖以生存的地球，正在一天天衰弱下去，地球妈妈需要我们的关怀，需要我们的照顾，也希望在这一天地球妈妈会舒服一点，好一点，有精神一点，我想谁都不希望地球妈妈就好像个病人无精打采的吧！
我也再次希望，世界上的人们苏醒过来，一起保护地球，地球只有一个，让我们从我做起从现在做起，一起保护我们的地球吧！如果人人都有环保意识了，那么世界也就会不在规定环保日了，我们的地球仪会变得更美好，也许这是一个很漫长的过程，也需要经过我们一代有一代的努力才能完成，但是不要放弃，加油吧！
