the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.

我的这次旅行历时16天，里程8820公里，跨越了9个省市，游玩了中国的两大草原——呼伦贝尔大草原和锡林郭勒大草原，还看了壮观的呼伦湖。
大家知道呼伦贝尔的名字是怎么来的吗？那我来告诉大家吧，传说很久很久以前，呼伦和贝尔是这草原上的勇士，他们不顾一切，除沙魔，灭妖精，把草原治理得井井有条。后来，村民们为了赞颂这两位勇士，就把这片草原取名为呼伦贝尔大草原。
呼伦贝尔的夏天空气清新，气温凉爽。一场细雨过后，一览草原风光，美丽的大草原一眼望不到边。蓝天白云，碧草绿浪，湖水涟漪，牛羊成群，整个草原清新宁静。茫茫无际的牧场，传来悠扬的牧歌。白色的羊群在地上吃草，远远望去，好似粒粒珍珠洒落在草地上。微风吹过，草浪滚滚，形成了一片绿色的海洋。傍晚，夕阳西下的'时候，在霞光的辉映下，草原和天连成一片。这样的草原美景，怎能不叫人心旷神怡？
当然，在这次旅行中还有很多景点，如：哈尔滨的圣索菲亚大教堂，阿尔山国家森林公园、地质公园，草原天路等。其中让我印象最深刻的是阿尔山国家森林公园。
阿尔山森林公园是火山喷发后在这里形成的火山岩，还形成了天池和地池，火山岩中还有壮观的玄武岩和熔岩隧道。如果你傍晚去天池，就会看到漂亮的晚霞，与晚霞相配的，就是天池和地池这两块碧绿的蓝宝石。
阿尔山是很美，但哈尔滨的圣索菲亚大教堂也很好看。清晨，成百上千只鸽子在教堂顶上飞来飞去，和教堂构成了一幅美丽的合影。
我的这次旅行的美景很多，说也说不尽，希望你有机会去细细观赏。

I went to the countryside to spend my summer holidays this year. I liked green plants, clear rivers and lovely amimals there.I breathed the fresh air on the mountain and sometimes I went swimming in the river. I kept a diary every day.

At college, I missed my parents a lot. As the term was drawing to an end, I eagerly looked forward to going home. And I planned to do a thousand and one things during the vacation. She completely deprived me of sharing her work. As soon as I opened a book to read,she would sit down beside me and ask me about all kinds of things at the college. So people call it Mountain City。 In Chong Qing，I went to the Red Stone Center， to see the places which the prisoners lived in the past。 It is a terrible and awful trip。 There are a lot of dogs， and soldiers with guns near the prisons。 And most of the prisons are good， they didn't want to tell the bad people where the other people were。 They lived in very small houses。 No good food to eat， no good water to drink。They had only twenty minutes to stay out side per day but they still said nothing。
I think they are the heros in that century。 I will follow their spirit。
