因此，我们在学习和生活中，绝对不要把目光盯在自己的劣势上，而要勇敢地去面对一切，努力让自己的劣势转化为可以利用的优势。

孩子听了之后，对父亲要求：“爸爸，就这么一次嘛!我也是第一次钓到这么大的鱼，这里又没有人看到，就让我带回家吧!”父亲斩钉截铁地回答说：“孩子，不能因为没有人看到就可违背规定。”随即与孩子捧起那条鱼，将它放回到河里去。孩子眼里含着泪水望着大鱼离去，没有再说一句话，默默跟着父亲收拾起钓具回家了。
十多年后，这个孩子成为一位很优秀的律师。在他的事务所会客厅里挂着一块匾额，写着：“你们说话，是就说是，不是就说不是;再多说便是出于那邪恶者。”
每个来找他办案的人，他都要求当事人必须先读一次这句话，然后对他们说：“若是被我发现你有隐藏案情，或是不诚实，我会立即拒绝为你辩护。因为我无法替不诚实的人伸冤，那会违背我的信仰良知。”这位律师名叫乔治·汉密尔顿，在纽约市执业，他最出名的一句话是：“我从不强辩，只照实说出事实真相，因为上帝知道我所说的每句话。”
