两年前的国庆节是那样的有意义，我们在庆祝伟大祖国生日的56周年华诞之际，也迎到了中秋之夜。
当夜幕降临了，星星布满夜空，向我们眨着眼睛，皎洁的月亮仿佛早已猜透了我们的心思，她拉开了夜幕，张开了笑脸。这时，月是那么温柔，她将黄色的光亮轻轻地洒向大地，泻进每个角落。
几天来我一直都在盼，今天终于盼来了中秋节的夜晚。吃过团圆饭后，我和爸爸妈妈一起来到越秀山观赏花灯。一走进越秀山的大门，我就被那些五颜六色的彩灯和前来观灯的人群所深深地吸引住了……这里热闹非凡，人潮涌动，歌舞升平，好一派南国风光。啊!我们走进了一个灯的世界，花的海洋。
我和爸爸妈妈沿着五彩缤纷的灯廊，来到了彩灯最密集的地方。那些五花八门的彩灯，使我目不暇接，仿佛走进了迷宫一般。这里的彩灯有的像小兔子，有的像大飞机，还有得像太阳公公……这时，一串欢乐的笑声从人群中传来，我闻声跑了过去，原来那里高挂着一个会转的大彩灯。只见彩灯的两旁画着桂林的山水画，彩灯的正面画着一个神气十足的猪八戒，他摇着扇子，翘着二郎腿，露着大肚皮，大模大样地吃着西瓜。另一面则画了一个力大无比的孙悟空，他高举金箍棒，眼睛里放出金光，似乎要把那个贪吃的猪八戒痛打一顿。看着这个有趣的彩灯，我也忍不住笑了起来。
天色，越来越暗，此时的月亮不知躲到哪里去了，也许是藏到云彩里睡觉了吧?可越秀山里的灯火却更加明亮了!你看，那“龙凤灯”不停地飞舞向我们挥手致意;“阿凡提”骑着小毛驴朝我们眯眯笑;“航天飞机”正在飞快地旋转，似乎就要射向太空……清馨的花香扑面而来，人们的欢歌笑语在越秀山的山谷中久久回荡。
这时，月亮似乎睡醒了，又从白棉花般的云朵里钻了出来，露出了温柔的笑脸。她用黄色的柔光伴随着我们沿着林荫小道，漫步向公园的深处走去。此刻，举头望明月，好一轮大玉盘似的圆月高高地镶嵌在墨蓝色的夜空中。“多么美好的中秋之夜啊!”我情不自禁地喊出了声。
