暑假，游泳班开课第一天，我心里万分的兴奋和快乐，心想：等到我学泳所成，一定让笑话我的同学刮目相待。
第一天的内容是练习憋气，老师简单地讲解了一下动作要领，就开始下水了。有的同学一猛子扎进了水中，还有的则是矜持的、缓慢的进入水里，我也下水了。同学们都是三两个一组扎进水中，练习憋气，好长时间才上来。我戴上泳镜，把头扎进水中，却忽然感觉很不自在，水在往我的耳朵里钻，我感到极度的恐惧，好像一个噩耗从天而降。于是，我立即把头仰出水面，之前的兴奋与得意被一扫而光。我不再敢下水了，只是站立在水中。第二天仍是如此。
直到第三天，一个凶巴巴的教练向我走来，严厉地说：“你怎么还站在这，赶紧下水，快!”内心的恐惧仍旧压过了严厉的呵斥，让我还是不敢服从命令。过了一会儿，又来了一个慈眉善目的教练，问我：“你为什么不下水呀?”我回答说：“水总是往我的耳朵里钻，我很害怕。”教练想了想说：“你放心吧，水进满了就不会再进了。”幼稚的我相信了他说的话，再一次扎入水中，这一次我充满了自信，感觉水在和我游戏，并没有往我的耳朵里钻。过了五六秒钟，我的身体开始向上浮，我开始和水做游戏。渐渐地我慢慢学会了游泳。
遇到困难并不可怕，自信却是你成功的一个好帮手。希望你今后再遇到麻烦时，能够用自信面对困难，相信自己的实力一定做得到，就终会成功。祝你万事顺利!

炎炎夏日，最凉爽的运动应该就是游泳了。下午，妈妈带着我来到阿姨居住的桂花苑小区里的露天游泳池里游泳。
来到泳池边，只见池水干净明澈，穿着各色泳衣的人们在泳池中如鱼得水般畅快地游来游去，真是热闹非凡啊!阿姨和我们的好朋友张豪杰早已在池中玩得不亦乐乎，我迫不及待地换好泳衣，套上游泳圈“扑通”一声跳进水里，融入其中。
泡在水里可真凉快呀，闷热被一扫而光，我和另外几个小伙伴玩起了打水仗的游戏，那欢乐的水，泼呀，洒呀，溅起一朵朵水花，水花从空中落下时，阳光洒在水珠上，就像一颗颗金黄色的珍珠，美丽极了。
阿姨可是一位游泳健将，只见阿姨像只有青蛙一样在水中熟练地游着，阿姨说：“这叫蛙泳”，我好羡慕阿姨呀，缠着阿姨教我游泳，阿姨说：“不急，不急，你们俩先练习一下在水中憋气吧，只要对水没有恐惧的心理，明年给你们报一个暑期游泳班，好好学。”于是我们俩屏住呼吸，然后把头沉入水中，练习憋气，第一次五秒，第二次十秒……，真希望自己能学会游泳啊!
夕阳西下，火红的晚霞映着大地，我们恋恋不舍的上了岸，带着清清爽爽的气息回家了。游泳令人身心愉悦，下次我还要来，嘻嘻!

It was the first day of our summer holiday.All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have two months to do things we love to do.We are free.Although we have some homework.But we can finish them in several days.And the rest time we can make good use of.My god! We have been very tired after hard studying.In summer holidays,I want to have full sleep and eat good food in order to replenish myself. Last but not the least,I will have a good rest.

summer can be very hot in southern taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky.
actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too.
so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

The sun is still so bright, as if forever young, never old. Gradually, the sun becomes red, and the earth, sky and clouds are also reflected by the sun.
太阳只剩下半边脸了，它仿佛不舍得离去，还想多看看这美丽的东方。

the summer vacation had come round again. i was happy that i could forget about school at least for a while. lest i fool around all through this summer vacation, i made a plan as to how to spend it. first, i thought i should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that i could have a better understanding of them.
then i thought i should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. it stood to reason that with such a good plan i should make the best of my vacation time. i did, because i lived up to what i had planned.
