瞧，那只有着棕红色毛发，正在晒太阳的泰迪狗就是我家的宠物，它叫“巧克力”。棕色的卷毛，大大的眼睛，扁扁的小嘴和小巧灵活的四肢构成了它。下面就讲讲我和它的故事吧。
记得那天下午，我和巧克力相遇了。这是只出生才两个月的小狗，棕红色的毛发打着卷，圆圆的眼睛亮闪闪的，四肢在不断抖动。我满脸激动地看着它，它却怯生生地看着我。我想抱起它却手足无措，不知从何下手，爸爸说：“托着它的肚子就好！”我双手托起它的肚子，抱入怀中，感到它浑身都在颤抖。我想它是刚离开妈妈，又来到新的环境，见到陌生的人，它害怕吧。
从此之后，我每天放学回家第一件事就变成了找狗！它不断变换“捉迷藏”的地点：有时在沙发下，有时在茶几下，有时躲在鞋里……真是难易不同，变化多端。我们辛辛苦苦找到了它，它却像若无其事般寻找下一个隐蔽点，真是叫人哭笑不得！
我们给它准备了狗窝，“躲猫猫”的日子终于结束了，可它能让我抓狂。它打翻家里所有的垃圾筒，把厕所的纸撕扯成碎片扔得哪里都是。等我们回家，它又欢欢喜喜地跑上前去迎接，却无视一地的狼藉。我们看着乱糟糟的家，却一点儿办法也没有，给它说话它听不懂，打它又舍不得。我到网上查了以后才发现，原来狗自己在家非常孤独，它想让主人陪着它，所以就把带有主人气味的纸分散在家中，这样它就觉得主人就在家中。我们了解了这个后，每天都会多陪它散步、做游戏，这样它就不会像以前那样孤独啦。
后来，我们家买了狗笼，那么问题又来了。巧克力不愿进狗笼，我们硬把它塞进去，它也会狂叫不止，吵得人不能入睡。怎么办呢？我想狗虽然不能说话，但它能从人的态度和口气中听懂人的意思。我就利用这个特点，每天早上需要它进笼子里的时候，就轻抚它的脊背，柔声对它说：“乖乖进笼子，我们回家后就把你放出来。”它就“呜呜”叫着，很不情愿地进了狗笼。
巧克力的成长故事多姿多彩，在它的成长中必定会遇到各种各样的困难，而我们也共同解决了这些问题，这不都是认真观察、关爱、耐心的结果么？

Your experiences, your friends, your family and your work have all shaped who you are right now. But where will you be in another few years? How will you have changed? Reflective writing in your journal is an excellent way to think about what you want out of the future.
