I tried my best to calm down for a long time. Then I went to the platform to begin my prepared speech.
I felt my brain was blank when I was having my speech.
Before the election, I was confident for this position, but I still so nervous when I was in the platform. Thanks for preparing in advance; otherwise, I must be embarrassed. But the result was what I want. It’s a happy thing.
今天，我们班竞选班长了。`我成为了新的\'班长。我很高兴，不过我现在仍然很紧张。竞选开始的时候，我好紧张，我都可以听到我的心怦怦跳了。我努力了很长一段时间才平静下来。然后我才走向讲台开始我已经准备好的演讲。在演讲的时候，我觉得我的大脑一片空白。在竞选之前，我对这一职位是很有信心，但当我站在讲台上时还是很紧张。幸好提前准备了；否则，我肯定很难堪。不过结果却是我想要的。这是一件值得开心的事

尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们：
大家好！
我是来自五（2）班的欧阳歆琦。今天，是我第一次上台演讲，此时此刻，我的心情既激动，又紧张。我这一次竞选的是班长这个职位。
我竞选班长这个职位的理由是：其一，我一到四年级都是正班长，我有过做班长的经验。其二，我热爱班集体，我会乐于帮助同学，能顾班上的大局。其三，我一以来都是班主任的得力助手，班主任也常常表扬我。
要是我真的当上了班长，我会这么做：笫一，我会和同学们重新制定一个新班规；第二，我会和班主任讨论一些有趣的活动；第三；我会和同学们努力，争得学校：“文明班”、“先进班”……以及一些比赛名次等。
要是我没有被选上班长，我也不会气馁，说明我还有一些不足的地方，你们可以说出来，我会加以改正。

Lion was awakened from sleep by a Mouse running over his face. Rising up in anger, he caught him and was about to kill him, when the Mouse piteously entreated, saying： “If you would only spare my life, I would be sure to repay your kindness.” The Lion laughed and let him go.
It happened shortly after this that the Lion was caught by some hunters, who bound him by strong ropes to the ground. The Mouse, recognizing his roar,came up, and gnawed the rope with his teeth, and setting him free.
exclaimed： “You ridiculed the idea of my ever being able to help you, not expecting to receive from me any.
repayment of your favour； but now you know that it is possible for even a Mouse to confer benefits on a Lion.”
