我的老家是吉林省长春市。这是一个美丽的北方城市。这个城市中最美丽的地方就是位于市内的南湖了。
在南湖畔有一大片白桦林。到了夏天，这片白桦林长得非常美丽，当人们走进林间小路，茂密的枝叶遮住了阳光，也挡住了人们的视线。沿着湖边，长着一排枝条低垂的柳树，柔软翠绿的柳条在风中摇摆，像一双双手在轻轻地抚摸着水面。南湖中心有一座圆形的湖心岛，人们可以从一座白石拱桥登上这个小岛游玩和垂钓。在湖的另一端浅水区，有一条长长的曲桥，桥上有好几座凉亭，桥下的水面几乎都被绿色的荷叶覆盖了，而各色的荷花在水面上欣然怒放，有白色的、粉红色的、黄色的，又美丽有芬芳。在湖水边还有大片大片的草地，草地上开满了五颜六色的小花。每到假日里，湖上就会浮动着许许多多的小船，船上游客们的欢声笑语远远传送。
