银杏树又名白果树，古时候又称鸭脚树或公孙树。它是当前世界上最古老的树种，又是世界上最珍贵的树种之一，因此，它被人们称为了植物界中的“活化石”。
大约在2亿年前，地球上的欧亚大陆上到处都生长着银杏类植物，颜色醉人，形态多变，很令人欢喜。可是，又在200多万年前，第4季冰川出现，大多部分地区的银杏树都毁于一旦。但值得庆幸的是，在这一场偌大的灾难中，我国的一些地区还幸存下来了一些银杏。光阴漫漫，时间仿佛一转眼就来到了现在，而中国的银杏树也因此成为了全世界中最古老的树种，也是全世界最珍贵的树种之一了。
银杏树的适应性比较强，一般都可以忍耐零下18℃至零下20℃的低温，甚至在短期的零下32℃的气温环境中也不会被冻。我可没它那么耐寒，我每年冬天只要到1℃多，我就手脚发僵，那骨头关节跟黏上了一般，动都不敢动一下。银杏树还可以耐高温，对土壤的松紧厚薄也没有多大的要求，所以它的适应性已经比较强了。
银杏树的叶子颇讨人喜欢。一个枝头，仿佛插上了无数片还没有巴掌大的小扇子，想把行人的一身疲惫与烦恼通通扇去。那一个个小扇儿小巧得很，差不多4个才抵得上一个巴掌大，既精致又不失古雅。
银杏树的幼树树皮稍稍浅裂，呈现出令人怜爱的淡灰色。在时间不息的流动中，随着银杏树的年龄增长，之前的裂纹和颜色都逐渐变深，那树皮让人摸起来粗糙得很。
银杏树被人们称为“活化石”，一身皆是宝。银杏树的木材可是“万能”的，是制作乐器、生活用具、和家具的高级材料。它还可以制作许多文化用品，也可以制作棋盘、棋子、体育器材、印章之类的小东西，反正吧，银杏树的木材到哪儿都是制作东西的上好材料。
再说说银杏叶，它可是我们小学生的最爱。既可夹在书中当书签，实用又美观，还淡淡飘着自然清新的味道，和书本中的书香诗情融合得别有一番风味。银杏叶还可以放在家里当摆饰，再配上一屋子的银杏物。天哪，一屋子的自然味道就出来了，换谁谁不想来一套，这样清纯又略显斯文的房子呢？
银杏树，在我眼里就是这世界上最美的植物了。春天，它嫩绿嫩绿地和小孩儿们一起玩游戏，秋天，它又金黄金黄的和稻谷们捉迷藏。如果在这时候再来一点雨……看，落小雨了，银杏树背后的背景又让人们更迷恋了几分。没过一会儿，雨停了。银杏树上那小扇儿，被冲洗得干干净净。太阳缓缓照下来，小扇儿上晶莹的水珠变得更加引人注目。

荔枝味道鲜美。如果你拿着一颗荔枝，靠近鼻子闻一闻，就会有一股甜香扑鼻而来。那香气好像桂花香，但比桂花香要更浓郁，把人的馋虫都勾出来了！拨开荔枝鲜红的皮，就会露出白嫩多汁的果肉，晶莹剔透，好似一颗夜明珠，让人想咬一口，又不舍得，也不知如何下口。轻轻咬上一口，顿时口舌生津，妙不可言。
