“没有规则，不成方圆。”这样的话每个人都应该知道，规则其实是社会的总管家，如果没有他，世界将是一片混乱；如果没有他，会有多少人会因事故而丧命；如果没有他，同学和老师还能够像今天一样遵守规则，教学活动能有条不紊吗？如果我们不遵守规则，那么世界还会如此的美丽吗？
大家都应该遵守交通规则，人与车各行其道才会安全有序，但有些人爱酒后驾车，只因一时贪杯，却换来了家人的眼泪和自己的痛苦。还有些人爱开快车，又是绿灯只剩下2，3秒的时间就直冲过去，轻者倍罚款，重者有的出车祸，有的丧命，有的坐牢，如果不遵守交通规则，是多么可怕呀！
社会的中小学生也有规则，在学校见到老师要问好，课上，发言要举手；课余，进老师办公室要喊报告，应允许后再进；大会发言要严肃，发言结束要鼓掌对到老，幼，妇，残和军人，行走让路，乘车让座，尊重帮助残疾人。
同学相处也有规则，同学之间要互相尊重，一个不懂得尊重别人的人，也不会得到别人的尊重。在校园生活了，同学之间要相互尊重一个不懂尊重别人的人，也不会得到他人的尊重。在校园生活里，同学之间朝夕相处，友好气氛，互爱的精神和和睦的关系，不但对学习十分重要，而且对每个人的人格成长和心灵健康也十分重要。
玩游戏也需要规则，最重要的就是公平，如果玩藏猫猫抓住了某人，而他硬说没有，让别人重新开始的话，那这种游戏还算公平吗？这种游戏玩起来是多么无聊啊！
同学和老师也需要遵守规则，不能给老师取外号或直呼其名，古语说的好：“一日为师，终身为父母。”也就是说，老师如同自己的父母一样，是必须无条件的尊敬的，请大家想一想：学上的每一点进步，有哪一点不渗透着老师的点点心呢？
我们生活在社会大家庭中，为了让这个大家庭更加和谐美好，我们遵循规则，我们遵守法律，规则给我们上了人生中最重要的课，那是花多少钱也买不来的。

Although we can only keep in touch with each other by the telephone or the Internet, I wish I could let you know how much I love you and how much I’ve appreciated the things you’ve done for me. It is never too much to say thank you to you, my dear parents.
First and the most important is that thank you for bringing me to this world. During the 20 years, you have done a lot for me, but I haven’t realized how much I love you until I left home to the university. I understand how much effort you have cost to bring me up. Now, I have grown up, I can look after you.

在其他父母的心中，当孩子天真淘皮的时候，也许规矩并不是那么重要，他们认为以后可以慢慢培养，但我的妈妈却从小就给我要立规矩。
记得在我很小的时候，有一天，妈妈带我去城关玩，因为忘带了垃圾袋，我手上拿着用完的餐巾纸，不太舒服。突然，我远远望见了一个垃圾桶，只是因为垃圾桶装满了，所以味道很臭，我捂着鼻子，像投篮一样，把手上的垃圾向垃圾桶扔去，就马上回头向妈妈跑去，却看见妈妈皱了皱眉头，对我说：“去捡起来，放进桶里去。”我怔住了，妈妈一直是个很爱干净的人，为什么会让我去那么臭的垃圾桶旁边呢？于是，我撒娇说：“那儿臭了……”可妈妈说：“如果人人皆知都这样，那垃圾桶边全是垃圾，还要垃圾桶干吗？去把它检起来！”望着温和的妈妈一下字变得那么严厉，我震惊极了，不就是一张餐巾纸吗，妈妈为什么发那么大的脾气呢？无可奈何，我只好向散发着恶臭的垃圾桶一步一步移去，我扭转头，捡去垃圾，正想扔进桶内，妈妈却说：“等一下，垃圾桶已经被装满了，我们去别的地方扔。”结果，我和妈妈走了许多路才好不容易找到了垃圾桶。那天，我一直不明白妈妈的`用意。
随着年龄慢慢长大，我终于明白了规矩只有从小时候做起，长大后才会有好的习惯，妈妈从小就给我立规矩，以培养我养成良好的习惯，现在文明的意识和行为已成为我的本能和习惯。我真要谢谢妈妈！
