我国清代杰出文学家吴敬梓，生活贫困。在他创作《儒林外史》时，经常因为家中无米下锅而挨饿。有一次一连两天吃不上饭，饿得头昏眼花，躺在床上喘气，还向妻子要笔继续写书。妻子流着泪劝阻他。恰好此时，有亲戚送来三斗米、两千文铜钱。吴敬梓吩咐妻子点火做饭，自己立即从床上爬起，走到桌前奋笔疾书。
二次世界大战期间，捷克作家伏契克被德国法西斯关在牢房里，他受尽酷刑，遍体鳞伤。昏迷几个星期，刚一清醒，他就向同情他的狱座克灵斯基要来纸笔，趴在床板上写文章。每写好一章就托克灵斯基秘密带出监狱。他忍受着浑身伤口的疼痛，额上黄豆大汗珠，滴湿了稿纸，浸湿了床板，仍坚持写下去。他牺牲后，他写的书出版了，就是现在人们读到的名著《绞刑架下的.报告》。
2.受挫不馁
著名京剧表演艺术家盖叫天，意志坚强，演艺精湛。一次演《花蝴蝶》折断左臂，演《狮子楼》又跌折右腿，后来又接错断骨。他在一连串挫折面前，毫不气馁，为了艺术，他毅然把接错的腿骨打断，重新接人事。他这种不怕挫折，通往直前的精神，终于铸成了自己独特的艺术风格和艺术流派。
3.奥斯特洛夫斯基不向噩运低头
前苏联著名作家奥斯特洛夫斯基，全身瘫痪、双目失明，但他不向命运低头，决心写长扁小说《钢铁是怎样炼成的》。开始时，他口授，让人记录。后来他想老是让别人代劳总不是个事。于是，他用硬纸做成一个框子，放在稿纸上，用手摸着框子写。他忍受着疾病的折磨，咬着牙一页一页地坚持写下去。用了将近五年的时间，终于完成了这部世界名著。

Secondly, the price of plastic bags should be further raised. Thirdly, media like your newspaper should do more to encourage the public to use paper or clothing bags to replace the plastic bags.
