有这麽一些人：有一位老人，他是从一段历史中走过来的，有人说，他代表着一个时代，有人说，他是中国科技的帅中之帅，仰望星空的时候我们知道，天上有一颗星是用他的名字来命名的，而他自己却说：“我很不敢当。”；有一对夫妇，他们是教师，然而他们同样是孩子，可是却不能守候在自己年迈的父母身边，去了远方，因为在远方有一群孩子要把他们当做像父母一样的老师；还有一位好医生，我们对好医生的要求是：医术高超、治病救人，而他不仅能治病还能暖心，甚至温暖整个世界……他们是《感动中国2011年度人物颁奖典礼》中的十大感动中国人物。

他们中的每一个都是那么令我们感动，那么令我们崇敬。然而最令我感动的是这其中的刘伟。

刘伟10岁时因触电意外失去双臂，但他坚强的挺了过来，并学会了弹钢琴，23岁时他登上了维也纳金色大厅舞台，让世界见证了中国男孩的奇迹。如果你认为他的故事就这么简单，那么我告诉你：你错了。

12岁那年，刘伟被推荐到北京市残疾人游泳队，开始了游泳训练，刘伟的伤残程度在这里是最重的，付出的艰辛也是常人无法想象的。沉下去，坚强的昂起头，再沉下去，再用力昂起头，他不屈的身体一次次从水里钻出来，与命运顽强的抗争。终于，在两年后，刘伟站在了全国残疾人游泳锦标赛的.冠军领奖台上。就在刘伟找到自己的人生价值、满怀信心备战2008年残奥会的时候，万万没有想到，又一个巨大的不幸降临在这个原本已经残缺的身体上——他患上了严重的过敏性紫癜，不能再做剧烈运动了，一心想拿奥运会金牌的刘伟不能游泳了，这是他失去双臂后命运给他的又一次致命打击。他陷入深深的迷茫，此时的他多麽渴望找寻到一个新的方向。决不放弃的刘伟选择再一次从头开始，再一次向命运挑战。为了支持儿子的梦想，刘伟的父母借钱买来了钢琴，却因为找不到能教他的钢琴老师，19岁的刘伟无奈开始了自学，从最简单的单音练起，一开始就遇到了难题，由于脚的大拇指过于粗大，超过了琴键的宽度，按下去的时候经常会带键，后来想出的办法是将它立起来，然后斜着摁，但是，更大的难题是，由于脚趾很难岔开，连最基本的三和弦音都弹不了。刘伟冷静分析自己的条件，他发现自己能利用的脚趾只有三个，可是，三个脚趾怎么才能达到别人用五个手指的效果呢？他想出的办法是两只脚一块去，靠速度来切换这个八度的东西，那时候一天要练习七个小时以上，最后腿都抬不起来了，脚也磨出泡了。使用自己设计的指法，刘伟的弹奏居然有了调式，1年后，刘伟弹钢琴达到了用手弹钢琴七级的水平。

刘伟，用事实告诉人们，努力就有可能。今天的中国，还有什么励志故事能赶上刘伟的钢琴声！当命运的绳索无情地缚住双臂，当别人的目光叹息生命的悲哀，他依然固执地为梦想插上翅膀，用双脚在琴键上写下：相信自己。那一段段轻盈的旋律，正是他努力飞翔的轨迹。

我想，我已不需要再抒发更多的感想了，因为我相信任何一个人看了刘伟的故事，都会感动，都会为他的坚强折服。

我们永远也比不上他的坚强，因为他不幸了，而我们所面临过的困难在他的不幸面前简直是小小巫见大大巫。但我们不需要跟他比，只需要学习他的坚强。在遇到困难的时候，想想他的事迹，像他一样，冷静思考，就一定能找到解决的办法，渡过难关。

“坚强”这两个字屡屡被人们提到，它是一种美好品质。我们不需要舍弃它再去开发新的美好品质，刘伟的事迹告诉我们，它永远都不会过时。

I first got to know Miss Pan when she enrolled at university and I was the assistant director of her class at that time.
