有一天，天空万里无云，小狗汪汪从家里出发到森林去玩。它发现森林的草丛里有一根洁白的骨头，它喜出望外，心想：“这根骨头正好可以填饱我的肚子”。它兴高采烈地叼着骨头往家走。
它离开森林来到桥边，看见河水很清澈，小桥两侧都有青草。它高高兴兴地叼着骨头走到桥的中央，感觉口渴了想要喝水，它刚把头探出桥栏杆，就发现河面上也有一只小狗，竟然和它长得一模一样，也叼着一根洁白的骨头，明亮的眼睛，圆圆的鼻子，扁扁的耳朵，还有大大的嘴巴，汪汪感到很吃惊，它想：“为什么在水里的小狗都会学我的动作，而且，也叼着一根骨头，要是，我把它的骨头捞到手给妈妈吃，妈妈一定会夸奖我的。”
说到做到，它先盯住水里的小狗，再把头伸向水面，然后，等水里的小狗靠近了，它就张大嘴巴想咬住水里的骨头，可是，它一张大嘴巴的时候，自己叼着的那根洁白的骨头，已经在它一开口的瞬间，掉到河里去了。流水很急，那骨头被流水冲走了。小狗汪汪看见自己的骨头被水冲走了，心里很难过，它只好愁眉苦脸地回家了。
回到家，汪汪把事情一五一十地向妈妈说了，并且很疑惑地问：“水里的那条狗是谁呀?”妈妈笑着说：“傻孩子，河面上的小狗其实就是你自己的倒影。”

我真的不相信我的小乌龟是一条狗。这事还得从前天说起。
那天,我发现有一只瘦狗老是从门缝里钻到家里,每次都会来到小乌龟身边,跟它说些什么,而每次都会被老妈的棍子赶走。有一天,爸爸妈妈都出门了,瘦狗又过来了,我躲在了门后,听着它们的谈话。
“你知道你为什么想吃肉吗?”狗温柔地问,同时把从垃圾桶中叼出的一块肉给了乌龟,期待地看着它。
“哦。我不知道。而且,我很讨厌猫。”小乌龟嘴中满是肉,吃得香喷喷的。真的,有一次,我抱来了一只非常可爱的小猫咪,硬是被它赶走了。为这个,我还揍了它一顿呢!
“哎,你是不是喜欢游泳,讨厌吃鱼?是不是……”哼!这只狗把我的小乌龟特有的喜恶全说出来了,难道它是神?
“哈!是啊!哈哈!”乌龟笑着说:“还有,我爱磨牙。”
“可怜的小东西,你早该像我这样了。”瘦狗把牙在墙上磨了磨,立刻划出一道又深又粗的线。小乌龟也在墙上划了一道线,可又浅又细。“为什么?”乌龟问狗。
“因为,你是一只——狗!”
这句话像一枚导弹,在我和乌龟之前引爆了。“什么?狗?”乌龟吃惊极了。“今晚十点,会在你面前出现一个小门,但停留时间只有两分钟。有两千多只像你一样的乌龟会爬进去,在那,你会找到只属于狗的自由。”瘦狗扔下这样一句话走了。
我赶快从门后出来,去追那只狗。可是,它幽灵般地不见了。唉,只能看今晚的运气了。
晚上,我像早上一样躲在了门后。“当——当——当——当……”钟响了十下,一个小门真的在乌龟面前出现了!此时的乌龟精神焕发,高高兴兴地向小门冲去。然而,乌龟的步子越来越慢,最后,它在小门前停了下来,哭了。十点零三分,小门消失了。
瘦狗又来了,它惋惜地对乌龟说:“你错过了你一生中唯一能变成狗的幸运时刻,其它乌龟都冲进了自由之门,享受到了狗的自由,唉!”乌龟伤心地说:“我……我爱我的家,我爱我的小食盆……”乌龟越说眼睛越湿,然后,它说了一句让我至今难忘的话:“我爱我的主人。”
