记得有一次，老师推荐我去参加画画比赛。我兴奋极了，可是，要想获得一枚金牌，我的画还远远不够啊!怎么办呢?请教老师，还是在自家练习呢?
思考了一天，决定在家里练习。我跑去外公的房间，抽出一张3B纸，用铅笔打起稿来。左弄右弄，一张稿子出来了，拿起勾线笔，沿着铅笔印瞄了起来，画着画着，我突然发现有点儿不对劲，回头一看，呀!描错了!此时我的脑袋就像爆了炸似的，“怎么办，怎么办，画错了!再花就来不及来了!”我急了，把画往地上一扔，生气的说：“我不画了，这么难的画，谁会画啊!”这时妈妈走过来，对我说：“别灰心啊，女儿，困难就像弹簧一样，你强它就弱，你弱它就强要坚持才能获得你梦寐以求的那枚金牌。”是啊，妈妈说的没错，只要坚持、努力，就会获得那枚金牌，不行，看来我得再画一张，在距离比赛的几个小时里，我做好了精心的准备。
下午，我搭着妈妈的车，来到少年宫门口，我的.心越跳越快，比兔子还要快。走进去找个位置坐了下来，拿起铅笔，在雪白的纸上，画了起来。时间一分一秒过去了，离颁奖的时间渐渐拉近，老师把我的画收了上去，当老师们埋头观赏我们的画时，我的心怦怦直跳，四点，四点一刻，四点半，讲台上始终没有校长的身影。接近五点的时候，校长终于走上了讲台，他拿起稿纸，念道：“谭琰晖同学获得本次比赛的一等奖……。”“啊!我竟然获得了一等奖!”心里暗暗高呼着，我连蹦带跑，脚有些麻木，在走上讲台的那一刻，每个人都用羡慕的眼光看着我，我为我自己能获得成功而无比骄傲。走上讲台，接过那独一无二的奖牌和奖状，我感到无比的温暖、亲切。望着那张盖有红印章的奖状，一种从未有过的快乐，一下子涌上心头，啊!我的一次发现，原来，通过自己努力获得的成功是那么珍贵，于是我笑了，笑得那么甜，那么舒心......
从此以后，我在也不害怕困难了，变得很努力、坚持不懈。测验差了，没有灰心，努力学习;做模型，拼错了，没有泄气，再来一次;做菜，做糊了，没关系，再来一次。
