今天，爸爸妈妈都没有下班，可是我先放学回家了。我决定给爸爸妈妈一个惊喜，于是我决定亲自做一次饭。
我看菜篮里没有菜了，就去菜市场买来许多菜。回家后，把菜一洗，便开始切菜，我决定把土豆切成丝，可是因为第一次切，好几次差点切到我的手。好不容易切好了，却粗的粗，细的细。唉，凑合凑合吧。然后又把黄瓜切成片……把菜切好后，我就去开煤气灶，哎呀!拧了好几次怎麽都打不开。是不是坏了呢?我向四周望了望，哦，原来煤气开关没有开，我伸手打开了煤气的开关。一点，煤气马上着了。然后又把锅放在煤气上。过了一会儿，锅热了，我把油倒进去，等油热后，我把菜倒进锅里，有把盐、味精等调料放进锅里。我用铲子把菜搅了搅，菜很快就熟了。一会儿，我已经炒好了三四样菜。
接着，我又学着妈妈平常作饭的样子又开始煮米饭。我把米倒进锅里，把沙挑了，再加了点水，把锅盖盖好，就放在了煤气灶上。
这时，传来开门的声音，我连忙把饭菜往桌上摆。妈妈爸爸进门惊奇地望着我和饭菜，先是哈哈大笑，然后异口同声地问：“是你做的饭吗?”我自豪地说：“是啊，你们先尝一尝。”爸爸妈妈笑着拿起筷子尝了尝说：“嗯，不错。可以当厨师了。”看着他们高兴的样子，我也开心的笑了。
