他尤为喜欢运动，但运动成果却事与愿违，但他仍然不放弃。小刘不但不瘦，反而一个字“胖”，别人嘲笑他，他却置之不理，坚持运动，坚持着理想……
他也喜欢看书。不管是中国的还是外国的，还是故事神话，无论是古代的还是现代的，他都喜欢看，因此别人给他起了一个外号“小书呆”。小刘不仅没有生气，反而高兴坏了，还夸自己上知天文，下知地理，大家都嘲笑他的”虚荣心”，觉得他夸大其辞，而我却很佩服他的毅力。
金无足赤，人无完人。他也有缺点，最令人印象深刻的是爱装酷，这令许多人都非常惊讶，纷纷议论：“这么小的孩子都喜欢装酷，长大还能得了。”其实，他只是每天用梳子把头向后一梳，再喷点香水，就大功告成了。偶尔他还喜欢耍小聪明，每当上数学课，不管会不会，他都跃跃欲试，回答不上来时，惊慌失措，挤挤眼睛向我求助，唉，每当这时候我都替他捏把汗!
他十分狡猾。有一次，我给他颗糖，他也给我一颗糖，可糖刚一入嘴，居然是粉笔头，等我回过神来，他早就溜了，气得我直跺脚，你们说，我这个朋友是不是很狡猾?
美好的时光总是短暂的，一起学习的课程也即将结束，每个人的成长的道路上都会不断结交新的朋友，但我们的这份友情，我会永远珍藏……

它高挺，直拔，树皮粗糙。它还有个发育不良的伴侣。那两棵银杏伴了我多载春秋，叶呈扇形，春碧秋黄。常有雀停在枝上，用喙梳理自己那光泽柔亮的羽。曾有燕在两枝交界处衔成一窝，我亲眼见小燕从幼鸟到后来羽翼日渐丰满，飞离巢穴。
我与发小最爱的便是秋。入秋，寒露时节，银杏叶开始落地，硕大而金黄。我与发小便拾起它们，一部分贴作标本，另一部分扎成一捆，看上去像极了黄玫瑰。年年如此，乐此不疲。
春时，银杏抽枝，高处长了几片嫩叶，偶尔拾起，细细端详，不如秋般丰满而无立体感。老家比较多枫树、香樟、紫薇和樱树。枫叶与银杏性质有些相似，入秋即黄，大而饱满。据说银杏百年结一果，反正据我太爷爷说他三十年前搬来这里也为曾经见它结果。我是九岁才约莫知道银杏是国家一级保护植物，与它一起的水杉恰巧也是如此。为此我高兴了很久：从小就是玩银杏叶和水杉这样的国家一级保护植物长大……
就连冬时银杏也是美的。银装素裹，积雪落在枝头，秃枝上堆积着一层薄薄的，晶莹的雪。当时门口的.屋檐结了冰锥，砸下来险些伤到小孩子。孩子捡起冰锥，用暖热的手捂着那冰，摊开手时冰已化了，手指通红，便“哇”地一声哭了，哭得很惨。银杏不像松树那样能拦下一片厚厚的雪，所以不远处的松树下面雪极少，人们便窝在那，燃起柴，烤番薯。经常有小孩子的羽绒服被火星沫烧了个大洞，被母亲骂骂咧咧扯着耳朵拉走。
如今早已离这银杏有两千多公里，但它是我人生的光，最好的朋友。

I first got to know Miss Pan when she enrolled at university and I was the assistant director of her class at that time. Furthermore, I still remember during the spring vocation in May, due to the break-down of my mail box, I missed her mails to discussing some questions. But the following week during the course time, she asked me directly. Her zeal for knowledge and the spirit to explore answers really leave me a deep impression. Finally, she was among the few students who got almost full marks in every test in class which showed her exceeding grasp of every chapter.
