学游泳时，教练先教我们做准备动作：扩胸、压腿、俯卧撑、活动关节等热身动作都包括其中。做准备动作时，我们都目不转睛地看着教练做动作，因为我们生怕做错一个动作，肌肉就活动不开，游泳 时四肢抽筋。我们学会了热身动作，教练便开始教我们学游泳的第一步——闷水。只见教练深吸一口气，把头埋在水里，在水里吐出了一串小泡泡，那小水泡像珍珠一样，教练伴着这一串“珍珠”的消 失，把头探出水面。然后带领大家到浅水区，对大家说：“一人练五次闷水，开始。”我在第一次闷水中就喝了一口水，想退缩，可我又咬咬牙坚持下来了，心想：不管做什么事情都不能轻易放弃。我 重新又戴上泳镜，继续练习闷水，好不容易完成了五次，不过，我感到高兴的是，一次比一次做得好做得轻松。接下来，教练又让我们学习游泳时的动作，上肢的动作依次是：抱水、夹肘、前伸，下肢 的动作依次是：收、翻、蹬夹。按照这样的顺序，再加上手脚协调，就能浮上水面并且能在水里自由穿梭了。教练带着一丝风趣地说：“你们想学漂浮吗？就是手和脚不做动作，在水里浮起来。”说着 ，教练就做了一个示范动作。只见教练在水里四肢伸平，看上去很放松，两腿慢慢漂上来，最后竟然浮在水面上了。我们也纷纷效仿，试了几次，发现只要身体处于完全放松的状态，真的能漂浮起来。 教练又教了换气的方法，当摁水时抬头出水吸气，在水里时可以慢慢吐气。当我能把这些动作做得熟练而连贯的时候，我就学会了游泳。
从学游泳过程中，我懂得了：任何困难都有一个共同的天敌——恒心。俗话说得好：只要功夫深，铁杵磨成针。有了恒心，什么事也难不倒；没有恒心，什么事也干不了。
