离老家不远处，有一条小河。阳光下的小河，显得格外清澈，一阵微风拂过，水面上泛起了层层涟漪，波光粼粼。有几只鸭子欢快地嬉戏着，时不时地把头伸进水里觅食，或是与同伴们嬉闹，“嘎嘎——嘎嘎——”的叫声在水上回荡。即使旁边有人在洗衣，它们依然毫不顾忌地我行我素，小河是它们自由生活的乐园。夏日里，我和小伙伴们常在河边举办属于我们的那别具一格的“泼水节”。掬起一捧水，向空中扬起。阳光下，晶莹剔透的水珍珠闪烁着，不一会滴答滴答地滴落河中，漾起圈圈波纹。我们乐此不疲地泼洒着。趁伙伴们一不留神，来个突然袭击，水花顿时在小伙伴身边溅开，偷袭成功了！成就感写满了我们幸福的脸庞。
往西行走500米左右，就是大片大片的田地了。田边的小草伸伸懒腰，仰起带着小露珠的脸蛋，甜甜地微笑。勤劳的农家人总爱在地里或种上新鲜水灵的蔬菜，或种上各种树苗。一畦畦，一垄垄，是那样绿意盎然。走在田间的小路上，空气是那样甜润，置身于大自然的怀抱，顿觉心旷神怡
每每回到老家总能找到一份优雅的宁静，呼吸一份自然清香的空气，享受一份独特迷人的乡村风光，那感觉真美！

那只小猫的毛软软的，滑滑的，头上还有好看的花纹，所以，我给它取名为花花花花的胡子很长，有一次我拿爸爸的刮胡刀去给花花刮胡子。妈妈说：花花的胡子不能刮，因为在很暗的地方，她能微微的抽动胡须，才能量出来道路的宽度。哇，原来它的胡子还有这么大的作用啊！我说。
花花非常爱干净，它拉便便也要去上厕所，一个便盆里放了很多煤渣，它每次拉完便便的时候都要用煤渣把便便埋起来。
花花是我的好朋友，每次我有零食都给它分一点，我穿袜子它就在我的脚上蹭来蹭去，我和它一起晒太阳，跟它一起说悄悄话。
这就是我最喜欢的小动物——花花。

初冬的时候，未寒气逼人，只有微微寒冷。
星期天，我和爸爸妈妈一起去探望我在荆州的姨婆婆。
经过两个小时的长途跋涉，终于拐进了那条小路，路口有个推着自行车，穿着玫红外衣的女孩——我的妹妹贝贝。
她示意我们的车向左拐，我早就迫不及待的下了车，我骑着她的自行车，驰向了姨婆婆家。
房前“父老乡亲”们站在一起迎接我们，互相打着招呼后，我们开始吃午饭。
午饭很丰盛：有红薯、甜丸子、腰花、菠菜粉丝汤、玉米、火腿肠……我吃了不少，这可是一顿极品的农家饭哦！
饭后，我和贝贝妹妹、航航哥哥一起上楼看电视，看了许多动画片，楼下忽然传来了爸爸的`声音：“廖嫣然！快下来拔萝卜！”我不知脑袋里在想什么，竟对贝贝、航航这些经常收割的孩子摇了摇手，“快点！拔萝卜去！”谁知？他们听了也兴致勃勃地跑了下来。
我三步并作两步地冲进田中去拔萝卜。我使出吃奶的劲，使劲往上拔，哪知我这个菜鸟把脆脆的白萝卜给拔断了，姨婆婆告诉我，要先把土刨开一些才行，我抓住萝卜左摇右摆终于收割了我第一个战利品，后来我还拔了胡萝卜，刨了姜，摘了大白菜。
在这里，用方言说就是地盘大，几乎没有任何机动车，所以我骑上贝贝的自行车大展身手，我骑得如闪电般快，心里暗暗得意，不料龙头一歪，连人带车地摔了个“嘴啃泥”，还险些掉进河里。后来航航哥哥骑上自行车，我才知道什么叫技术！他还可以带一个人呢！我坐在后面，清风拂过我的脸颊，鼻腔里满是清新的空气，心想：农村真好！
