在我的家乡淮南有一颗璀璨的明珠——龙湖公园，它是淮南的十大美景之一。那里游人如织，鲜花朵朵，绿树成荫。
一进大门映入眼帘的是那美丽的喷泉，那喷出的泉水好像无数个长着透明翅膀的小精灵，一会儿一窝蜂的冲向天空，一会儿又消失的无影无踪。
在喷泉周围有两座巨大的浮雕，分别雕刻着淮南的十景、淮南的特产——豆腐的来历以及淝水之战的壮观场面。给我印象最深的要数那淝水之战，上面场景和人物都雕刻的栩栩如生，让我有一种身临其境的感觉，仿佛真的有千万匹马齐头并进，在雷鸣般战鼓声中，战士们一个个奋不顾身地冲向敌人。继续往前走就来到了“龙凤祈福”的雕塑下，只见龙和凤拼成的一个大大的“福”，在阳光的照耀下银光四射。沿着弯弯的小路向前走，就来到了碧玉桥前，站在碧玉桥上正好和望桥遥遥相望。一阵微风吹过，一股清香扑面而来，放眼望去原来前面有一大片荷塘，荷叶挨挨挤挤的像一个个碧绿的大圆盘，荷花从这些大圆盘中冒出来，有的才展开三四片花瓣，有的花瓣全展开了，露出了嫩黄色的小莲蓬，还有的还是花骨朵儿，苞胀的马上就要破裂似的。
沿着荷塘边走，不一会儿就来到了龙湖边，成排的垂柳高大而挺拔，像卫士一样守在龙湖边。接着就来到龙湖公园最主要的建筑——望桥，全长52米，宽10米，全部是用汉白玉砌成的，它造型别致，古朴庄重把龙湖一分为二，分为南湖和北湖。站在望桥上龙湖公园的美景尽收眼底，蓝蓝的天空，雪白的云朵，碧玉的湖水，五彩斑谰的鲜花，真是人间仙境。
