Second, I was attracted by his lively wit. I remember that we students always anticipated his class with great eagerness because his lecture were humorously delivered, never failing to provoke chuckles or loud laughs.

人们对用改变生产方式、生活环境、变更作息时间，来打开新局面很难立即接受。我本人一生中最难决定的一件事，就是需要离开那祖辈居住的小村庄，去一千公里以外、陌生的大城市谋生。对于我来说，奔向成功之路只有这一条。那是一条寂寞的'人生之路，我饱尝了它的辛酸，但最终到达了目标。这一目标是我自己为自己制定的，当时我想，无论能否成功，我也要去拼搏，接受命运的挑战，改变自己的人生。
所以，不妨考虑一下如何接受挑战。下了决心，对自己又有多少损害？即使你不会成功，谁也不会砍下你的手臂，将你打入监狱或是没收你的东西。可如果你接受了挑战，就和我有了共同语言。我在生活中时常遇到挫折，但我失败后从不气馁，昨天还是幻想家，今天又成了冲锋陷阵的战士。
失败是滑稽的，也是悲伤的。多年的奔波劳累，使我得了颈椎疲劳、腰痛病等，每当困难给生活带来阴影的时候，我并不象人们想象的那样痛苦不堪。为什么？因为我充分利用时间，拼命去工作，使自己的头脑没有思考那些悲剧的余地。
我要对你说，你同其他人一样，思考能力、智力和其它素质都属于中等的范畴，这并不是决定人学习好坏的重要因素。但是，你如果交上好朋友，你本身的学习方法、努力程度，会在你不知不觉中向前迈进一大步，这是因为你顺应了潮流，前进的潮流。这里我想解释一下“浸透作用”的含意。简单地说就是一种事物浸入你生活的一方面，这方面就会将其吸收。所以，你如果身在优等生之间，你的成功系数就会提高。
请记住“与智者同行者亦必智者——旧约”。请距离愚蠢的人50米！你不是等闲视之的类型，你不会让岁月白白在你眼前流逝，你总是想打头阵。这是我对你的看法。
接受挑战时，人的态度各异。有的人惧怕人生，而过着如同牧场母牛一样的生活；有的人认为挑战增加了生活的乐趣和价值，而在不断寻求新的挑战。在这两个极端之间，都以“常识”为基准，把挑战分为有意义的和无意义的。我想，将来你会了解挑战是人生的一部分，会去巧妙地处理。一般是能取胜的，有时也会失败。
但托马斯·H·哈格斯金曾经说过：“年轻时期失败数次，对将来十分有益。”所以失败多少次不算什么，关键是不能因此而气馁，意志消沉，迷失前进的方向，丢掉进取之心。不论如何，你应去尝试。只有这样，你才会真正长大。

有时候我们会怀念一些城市，或许因为这个城市曾经住过某个让我难以忘怀的人，虽然我们总是不肯承认，虽然我们一直对自己说我们怀念的只是那个城市，仅仅是一个城市。然而却总是想是否还有机会再回到那个城市，可当我们真的'能回去再看看的时候，才发现那个城市早已不再是我们所想象的那般，物是人非事事休，心里空牢牢的，仿佛被岁月灼蚀留下一个洞，我们已无法再用回忆去填满。心里怏怏不快，不得不承认我们怀念的并非是那个城市，更多的是和那个城市有关的人，因为这个人让我们魂牵梦萦这个城市。

其实人总是在自欺欺人，总是活在自己的回忆中，感情色彩太重了。这世界应该真实点，人应该现实点。
